Waydda go Medford!
Bump for later read, as I only managed the first 3 paragraphs in detail, as it's late and I'm pretty much toast right now.
He nailed those first 3. Will have to download this article into the palmpilot for future reference if I ever bother to debate a liberal.
I bet Rush picks up on it tomorrow.
I never really liked Medford's appearance or demeanor (sorry, he just looks ODD to me) on the tube, but he's a clear thinker and can articulate his conservative thoughts well on paper.

#10 The American People.
One other difference (it should have a category of its own) is there existed a SILENT MAJORITY that was mostly silent during the Vietnam War. That is not the case today. Those of us who served and who will never forget what it was like upon coming home, will not allow the voices of the Michael Moores or the Mother Sheehans to prevail as they did a generation ago.

- Our opposition in Iraq is a contemptible force which has no leader who can show his face in public, and which cannot afford to concentrate its forces above the platoon level.
- Our opposition in Iraq has no open allies whose hostility we fear.
- Our military is all-volunteer and has very high morale.
- Our casualty rate is an unhappy reality, but one which we could if necessary sustain into the indefinite future.
- Our Quisling "Objective" Journalism faces opposition with propaganda power of its own.
- The party of cowardice has not controlled either house of Congress since 1994.
- The president's political supporters are solid.
- The Iraqi government we overthrew had earned the antipathy of most Iraqis.
- This fight was precipitated by an attack on US soil.
- It took ten years to wear down US determination in Vietnam. But we are standing up an effective new Iraqi army and a constitutional government. Our opposition does not have ten years. The clock is running on them.

I really want the names of those "Law Makers" who signed onto the Case-Church amendment.
