Fox News has hit a new low. I didn’t think it was possible. To insinuate that a grieving mother is a communist, a wacko or has a political agenda just shows how evil this cable network is.
Cindy Sheehan is a hero who has every right to demand answers to why her son and so many other Americans lost their lives for a lie. Our servicemen pledge to serve and defend our nation.
They do so out of a sense of moral obligation and a love for this country. Leaders of this administration and especially President Bush have shown time and again that they view themselves as above reproach. Our soldiers’ lives and dedication are expendable.
That Bush, who presents himself as a man of faith, can’t reach out to a fellow human as a good Christian, tells me that he is no Christian. God help us all.

I would hope so, considering her supporters.
Was this just a letter to the editor? I see crap like that every day in my newspaper. Pure ignorance.

I think calling her a Communist is an insult to all Communists. This was on Dridge a few days ago about her.

So declared Cindy Sheehan earlier this year during a rally at San Francisco State University.
Sheehan, who is demanding a second meeting with Bush, stated: "We are waging a nuclear war in Iraq right now. That country is contaminated. It will be contaminated for practically eternity now."
Sheehan unleashed a foul-mouth tirade on April 27, 2005:
"They’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites! And we need to, we just need to rise up..." Sheehan said of the Bush administration.
"If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bullshit, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?"
"The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war."
"We want our country back and, if we have to impeach everybody from George Bush down to the person who picks up dog shit in Washington, we will impeach all those people."

No she's not. I never heard anyone on Fox say that she's a communist, but I don't listen to it 24/7, but O'Reilly and others have pointed out her connection to far left organizations.
Who cares...? she's an opportunist, not courageous. She has used and abused her son's service and death for her own need of publicity. Shame on her.

It's the son, Casey, who is clearly courageous. After reading a tribute to him on a military blog this morning, I've decided to pray for his mother since I think that is what he would want. It's going to be hard, but maybe she'll find peace. I think that's what Casey would want. He was a wonderful young man and we need to get the focus back on him.
The question for the writer.......does she think that Lynne Stewart is an American hero.

A common theme that I have noticed recently is that Pres. Bush owes the parents explanations, especially one pertaining to when their sons/daughters will be coming home.
Mayor Manhood, Columbus mayor, expressed that line of thought regarding his own son who is in Iraq. Of course, this theme is just another way of asserting that the war in Iraq is wrong.
From some of Sheehans speeches, I'd day she holds all America is great contempt and hates it. That doesn't make her a communist, just a seditious whiner with serious emotional issues.
It's really difficult to make up stuff about her since so much that's true is so horrid.
Horowitz' old man was also a Commie ~ he's spent his life making up for it. I would imagine the Sheehan boy was similarly motivated.

I highly doubt that Fox News did anything besides quote Sheehan accurately. The fact that this moonbat letter-writer is implying that she was overtly called a communist indicates, to me, that the leftists know she is not appearing well to the average American. Why else would she try to defend Sheehan against a charge that hasn't been spoken? Not to mention that the moonbats just hate being exposed for what they truly are, even if they are not being expressly labeled.
Cindy Sheehan has not just used her son's death for her own needs, but has also used the names of other servicemen, mostly against the wishes of their families.
Cindy Sheehan is a typical liberal where the end justifies the means, even if you have to abuse the dead.
