And when it comes to people who may or may not be liberals, we are also indeed mean SOBs? My very Republican dad has converted many, many young men over the years from liberal to conservative. He didn't do it by being a mean SOB.

What makes you think we (FReepers)care much about "possible" media coverage?
Do you actually think most of the people traveling towards Crawford right now are doing so in order to stage a media event?

Some FReepers sure seem to care a lot about the possibility that this guy isn't a legit journalist. If they don't care about "possible" media coverage, why do they care about this?
Personally, I hope the caravan gets national media coverage. I do think it's important because Cindy Sheehan isn't the only game in town. People should know that there is a gathering of two to three times as many people (I hope!) who hold the opposite view. People tend to think that if it isn't reported in the media, it didn't happen, If they don't read or see reports of this caravan and others like it, they'll think that Cindy represents the majority. So speaking for me, personally, (as opposed to speaking for all FReepers), I hope it does get coverage.
As for my posts on this thread, actually my question has been to those who are so quick to doubt that the guy who started the thread is a reporter, the question being basically: so what if he's not? What horrible consequences would there be?

I repeat, who cares?
I don't "FReep" leftists gatherings for MSM coverage.
I FReep them to report back to the internet, via this forum, as to what actually occurred.
The MSM have proven themselves to be irrelevant in factual reporting of events.
I am not nearly as active as many other FReepers are, but if I see an opportunity to act, I do so.
I frankly couldn't possibly care less about a paid "reporter" for the MSMs internal bureaucracy issues, since I rate reporters slightly under lawyers and used car salesmen, on my own subjective scale of "people likely to be truthfull".

Good turn-out in Fresno Ca.
Crowd started out with about 20 and grew to about 50.
All the local media were there.
John Kaza, thanks for showing up and praying for our troops.
Debra, (co-founder of Marine Moms) thanks for speaking so eloquently.
Kathy, from San Francisco, thanks for making the trip.(Glad you brought a change of clothes for Crawford.)
Thanks to the supporters who turned out to wave Old Glory.
Onward to Bakersfield.

Soooo, are you a reporter or not? Never mind lol. Sometimes I see a funny side to things that others don't see amusing. Anyway, the press pass remark was a referal to the protest warrior that was refused an interview and meant as a joke. I never expected you to scan one.

I don't "FReep" leftists gatherings for MSM coverage. I FReep them to report back to the internet, via this forum, as to what actually occurred. The MSM have proven themselves to be irrelevant in factual reporting of events. No doubt people FReep for different reasons. Yours are as good as any. I've witnessed first-hand just how innacurate the MSM is in factual reporting. As for irrelevant ... I could only wish it were so! And in truth, the MSM is becoming more and more irrelevant because of alternative media, but it won't be truly irrelevant until it fails to influence voters who only get their news from TV, Time, and Newsweek -- which, sadly, remains a LOT of voters.
When you report back to this forum, you are acting as a reporter yourself, albeit one you and I would rate well above lawyers in terms of truthfulness!
One of my brothers is a used and new car salesman, and he's a pretty truthful guy -- probably one of the reasons the same customers go back to him and refer friends and family to him. Also keep in mind that the ranks of used and new car salesmen are generally pretty conservative politically, so you might want to re-examine ranking them with MSM reporters and lawyers! ;^)
