What makes you think we (FReepers)care much about "possible" media coverage?
Do you actually think most of the people traveling towards Crawford right now are doing so in order to stage a media event?
Personally, I hope the caravan gets national media coverage. I do think it's important because Cindy Sheehan isn't the only game in town. People should know that there is a gathering of two to three times as many people (I hope!) who hold the opposite view. People tend to think that if it isn't reported in the media, it didn't happen, If they don't read or see reports of this caravan and others like it, they'll think that Cindy represents the majority. So speaking for me, personally, (as opposed to speaking for all FReepers), I hope it does get coverage.
As for my posts on this thread, actually my question has been to those who are so quick to doubt that the guy who started the thread is a reporter, the question being basically: so what if he's not? What horrible consequences would there be?
