And how would you feel about astrology being taught alongside astronomy?

Well, that's not quite a fair analogy. Intelligent design does use logic and data to make some of their points. EvBio counters with their points, and what emerges, IMO, is a better and deeper understanding of general biology for true students. The questions the ID people raise are pretty good--even though they haven't swayed me.

Astrology, OTOH, has nothing but a belief system based on primitivism. And, they do not pose reasonable questions relating to Newtonian or Einsteinian laws.

Sadly, some churches do view astronomy and astroligy as the same thing and believ ethat astronomy is Satanic. It happened in my ex-wife's church. They even quoted Scripture to prove their point. Something about it is a sin to make a graven image of anything in Heaven above or Hell below. As a result, astronomy and geology are considered sinful because they study that which God commanded not be studied.

"And how would you feel about astrology being taught alongside astronomy?"

Most of what is taught in astronomy can be called science. Most of what is taught on evolution is not.

You are comparing apples and oranges. Evolution "theory" is unique in it's religious nature compared to the other sciences. That is because the others do not make wild unprovable claims and then call you a moron if you don't accept them.
