I'm just curious, but the 'suburbs of MAryland'? Would those be Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Virginia? Don't want to be a pedant, but can't writers wite anymore????

Your point about the "Maryland suburbs" demonstrates the weakness of many writers in the MSM today: ignorance of history, geography, philosphy...and even worse, unwillingness to look things up!

I guess Maryland suburbs are the great unwashed white conservative hinterlands outside Baltimore - the ultimate destination city. Yeahhh right....

Goldie was raised the Bethesda/Chevy Chase, my old stomping grounds.....

My wife used to sell Goldie make-up when she was a "Clinique" girl at Bloomingdales in the early '70's....Goldie would only see her and would set an appointment....She would come in with two body-guards/escourts and spend an hour with my wife and several hundred dollars in make-up, etc...

My wife is not at all impressed by Hollywood types (in fact - she is usually annoyed by them) but she always found Goldie charming and sweet.....
