As a native Nebraskan, at this time I'd like to take the opportunity to apologize to the entire civilized world for Chuck Hagel. From the home of Boxer and Feinswine you are forgiven, see, things could be worse! LOL.

Gerge Allen lost my vote for 2008. IMO, it is unforgivable for him to have insinuated himself in the Sheehan mess. He publically backed Sheehan and went against the President. Either it was for publicity or it was because of stupidity. Both reasons suck.
Ditto here. I was proud of Allen for the way he took after Kennedy last year but he blew it big time here.

Thanks. I had forgotten about the "lost" computer. Gee, did they ever find it? (Probably not. It's someplace with Col. Shaffer's official briefcase of notes on Able Danger.)
To: csmusaret
It also allows them to vote. And that, after all, is the whole point, I believe.

The smartest thing Allen could have said abut stoopid Sheehan is nothing at all. She doesn't deserve any attention whatsoever. She has become a disgrace to her son, who was a true hero, and immediate family and other true Gold star moms who also lost their sons.

And now the 911 Commission, I read, has "lost" the Able Danger documents delivered to them. What a coincidence.

basically in Lott's RINO world, a President who lies to them repeatedly and continually stabs them in the back on issues is "Good" because he flatters their egos and one who stands back and expects them to do THEIR job is "bad". Klinton played those who wanted to be played like a fiddle.

Kinky is running for governor of Texas as an independent. Now I'm not a Texan :-( but I'd never vote for someone named Kinky
. You got to draw the line somewhere.Trust me, Kinky Freidman is a uniquely Texan soul; where else are you going to find a country/western band called the Texas Jewboys? Who are all Jewish? And whose lead singer actually has a shot at being elected Governor? And finally, most damning of all, who Molly Ivins thinks well of?
I mean, for god's sake; what could be more Texan!?!
To: Alas Babylon!
Face the Nation could only dredge up "formers."
Is Schieffer still "moderating" this program?

On every VP search his name comes up & goes, the last being Kerry. His personal problems are deeper than Bernard Kerik or so I read somewhere. Even Brit mentioned something like that during last campaign on roundtable. Richardson is an Hispanic, the largest and fastest growing minority. He is a Dem governor (National Chairman of the Dem Goernors) of a western state who has cut taxes. Richardson has also, albeit for show, come down as being an advocate for immigration reform and controlling our borders. Richardson has been a member of Congress, UN rep, and Secretry of Energy. Political and governmental experience is not an issue.
Richardson has lots of baggage connected with Monica, North Korea, the Taliban, and Los Alamos, but he is also facile and eloquent enough to gloss over these issues. Assuming he is reelected as governor, I think the Dems will embrace him as the VP nominee, the first Hispanic to be nominated for that office.

It's difficult for me to believe that Allen is like that. But as I said, time will tell and we have a lot of time before 2008.

Richardson is running for VP under Hillary. When Richardson was talking about the driver licenses for illegals he kept saying "we know where they are". My son said, "If they know where they are, why don't they deport them?"

Thanks a LOT for this post. I added this guy to my watch list. As an ex-Infantryman I am still laughing about the line I quote below.

QVC had a dell computer sale a few weeks ago and I hesitated, they took my name and info and said it would be back soon, it was.I have never dealt with them but they seem reputable. Plus I don't have to deal with Indira Singh in India.
