I am rather surprised at the inclusion of Rand on the list. But before criticizing the author for this choice, it might be a good idea to read the book.

If I was looking at some elaborate mathematical proof and noticed in a particular step that 1+1=3 I would have no need to read the whole thing to know something was wrong with it
