Ben & Jerry's gets no business from anyone with half a brain.

Is this Ben or Jerry? I forget.

I found Rite Aid's dark cherry ice cream to be just as tasty as CG and not as heavy.

Ben and Jerry never met a Liberal Cause that they didn't like--- August 9, 2002 Mr. Jerry Colangelo 401 E. Jefferson St Phoenix, AZ. 85004 Mr. Colangelo, The 5700 hundred members of the Arizona State Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police and the 300,000 members nation wide respectfully request that you remove Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream products form Bank One Ballpark, and replace them with a vender who has not taken a stance against Law and Order in the United States. On December 9, 1981, Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner was brutally murdered by Wesley Cook. Cook, AKA Mumia Abu-Jamal. He was convicted in 1982 and since then has been imprisoned on death row awaiting execution. During his twenty year stay on death row Mumial Abu-Jamal has become somewhat of a celebrity and has received the support of numerous people who are opposed to the death penalty. One of which is Mr. Ben Cohen the co-owner of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream. Although Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream has been sold to Unilever United States Inc., he and the cofounder Mr. Jerry Greenfield continue to run the day to day operations of the company. Every time a police officer enters Bank One Ballpark, whether they be a resident of Arizona, or a resident of another state including Pennsylvania they are reminded by the signs advertising Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream that the person responsible for Officer Faulkner’s death has not received the punishment for this hennas act. By your removing their product from Bank One Ballpark, you will send the message that the Diamondback organization, along with the residents and Police officers of the state of Arizona, stand firmly behind our law enforcement brothers and sisters of the Fraternal Order of Police in Philadelphia and throughout the United States. Thank you, _________________________________ Kenneth Magoch, President Fraternal Order of Police Arizona State Lodge P.O. Box 42993 Tucson, AZ. 85733-2993

I don't know if its a national brand but Richardson's Ice Cream beats Ben and Jerry's ice cream any day of the week. Though it might just be a New England brand.

If Ben and Jerry looked around, perhaps they could find a stray cow in China and have their ice cream made there.

We also stopped eating their ice-cream as soon as we learned of their anti-Americanism. It's really not that great.

I've even added pointing it out to store managers in military towns and to other patrons since most in a military town are dependents, vets, or retirees or extended families of servicemembers.

"Just wondering: If America can bomb the hell out of a small, weak country that has never attacked us, is it all right for someone to destroy us just because they think we might someday attack them?"

What country would that be? Afghanistan? Remember 9-11? Iraq? Is a direct attack on the United States the only evidence of a threat that must be dealt with? Was Saddam's Iraq a "small weak country?" Ask the Kurds who were gassed, or the Shiites who were slaughtered. You might even ask your leftist media gods, such as Robert Fisk and John Pilger, who carried on constantly about the invincible might of the "battle-hardened" Iraqi forces before that particular big lie joined so many others on the ashheap of media power.

Nazi Germany did not attack the United States at the beginning of World War 2. The very same absurdly loaded question you have asked me was asked by Nazi sympathizers during the war, and by some to this day. How would you personally benefit from having Saddam in power? Did he buy your support, as he did so many others, or do you sell your soul for free?

This is one of the reaons we eat Braum's or Bluebell for ice cream. I can do without Ben & Jerry's, no need to contribute to their lefty causes.
