They don't say which cities specifically, but ever heard of a place called Jitney Jungle? They sell Kemps Ice Cream in MS.
I just die for Butter Pecan, as long as it is made by an actual dairy. Manufactured frozen guar-gum is not my cuppa.
They started the company in the late 70's in Waterbury, VT. They were leftist scum then and time has only made them worse.
I had Ben and Jerry's once. It was okay but this is bizarre.
They all sound good to me! There are some flavors that I never knew they had. LOL!! Heck, I would die for a bowl of cherry fudge chunk ice cream!
YES! Jitney Jungle is out of Jackson but also does business here under the name of Sack 'n Save. I'll go look tomorrow.
I "hate" going to bed with ice cream on my mind...lol.
They operate under the name Winn-Dixie too don't they?
I hate going to bed with ice cream on my chest....
LOL
Likely so, but we have a Sack 'n Save here, but not a Winn Dixie. (Bankruptcy). I have also heard that the Sack 'n Save is closing, but I'll go see about the ice cream tomorrow.
Good nite all, at least for a while.
The map is a bit misleading. It claims there are no stores in Montana that sell Kemps, but both local "mom'n'pop" stores in town sell Kemps. One is a Supr-Valu (IGA), and the other is a Western Family brand store. Western Family has some brand foods that come in packaging that resemble national brands, like their Western Family Chocolate syrup comes in a squeeze bottle that looks like the Hershey's syrup bottle. The only difference is the Western Family brand is MUCH cheaper even on "off sale" days.
Good night for now, onyx. :)
Blue Bell Ice Cream!!!!
It is THE best!
I've spent most of my life savoring it.
I had some earlier this month and, if anything, it's better than ever!
Too bad I can't find it in the stores in OR.
I could purchase it online, and have it shipped here.
But, I would have to buy 4.5 gallons, for $89.
It's worth the price, for sure.
But, where would I store 4.5 gallons?
Bummer...
BTTT!!!!!
So much for Ben and Jerry's ice-cream.
You know? I don't think I ever have deliberately eaten B&J's (that's ironic) Ice Cream, but when I realized 'they' were as liberal as they were, I make it a standard point to not support them in any way.
