Incredible lightening show to our north...non-stop flashing and long low rumbling thunder...

WE had about an hour of total downpour around noon...winds but nothing since then.

Huge full moon has risen tonight.

Heavy structural damage was reported in Stoughton in Dane County, tornadoes were reported on the ground in Waushara, Jefferson, Columbia and Vernon counties and a confirmed touchdown was reported in Trempealeau County, the National Weather Service said.

In Dane County, the heaviest damage was reported in the Stoughton and McFarland areas, said J. McLellan, a spokesman for the county’s Department of Emergency Management.

The lightning show is between you and I. Some of the most awesome spidery streaks I've ever seen. I wish I had the proper photographic equipment.

Had a nice soaker about noon as well. The light show is off to my south, and all I got was a bit of rain from this round (others around the area had lightweight debris come down on them).

Last of the warnings should now be over. The cell of concern is now out over Lake Michigan.

For you boaters, there are special marine warnings out for much of Lake Michigan.

Interesting story on WTMJ-TV on a bank statement that made it from Stoughton to Hales Corners pretty much dry and intact (a trip of about 60 or so miles).

It sounds like there has been a ton of damage up there tonight. Will have to wait for daylight to determine just how bad this was.

I found a few more things outside today. One was a 5x7 photo in almost perfect condition, a little bit muddy, of a golfing foursome. I heard the country club in Stoughton got hit - maybe the pic came from there.

Hey Steve, thanks for the warning, but think by the time you posted this I already had everything shut down and was hauling butt into the basement! lol Had sightings of a couple funnel clouds about a mile from us, but never made it to the ground, fortunately. How was it in your area?

I missed the debris that came from Stoughton, and only got the light show off to the south along with some sprinkles. Much of the lawn is still brown (or at least was as of sunset yesterday).
