Part II is up at The Radio Equalizer.
Brian Maloney and I take a close look at the financial plans of Sheldon and Anita Drobny, the deep-pocketed, far left Illinois Democrat couple who dreamed up Air America and have been involved in its many strange and dubious business reorganizations. The key questions that curious radio industry veterans, financial observers, skeptical investors, and business reporters should be asking Air America:
What is Nova M? And why now?

How could all these shenanigans get past the amazing Franken? What did he know and when did he know it?
Or is he pleading extreme density?

Liberal talk radio has been a financial and ratings disaster. But if rich liberals want to keep throwing away their money on it, I would think that's money they couldn't put to better use. If their egos are so tiny they have to compete with Rush Limbaugh, well that's their choice. They shouldn't blame the rest of us when they fall short of their goals.

Wonder why somebody like Soros hasn't come to the rescue yet? It seems like the dollar terms they're throwing around would be pocket change to him.

George Soros may be a leftist but he's not a fool when it comes to business. He knows a losing investment when he sees one.

Soros has made it perfectly clear that he will donate his money only if progressive groups are (1) actually producing something worthwhile and (2) financially trustworthy and responsible. Too bad he's a flaming a**hole leftist!

He wants a return on his money. Soros just doesn't throw it away like a gift from the gods and if liberals think they can guzzle beer and munch on pretzels sitting on their couches while Soros funds them, they're in for a huge disappoint. He wants the Left to be run like a business. That's hard to do with the "gimme" mindset that prevails on the Left - they've been conditioned to expect something for nothing.

Seems to me these Lib Dems are being accused of the same kind of things the original Air America (remember them) by the Lib Dems then.

AAR can only be said to be in cmmpetition with Rush, et. al. if one uses the loosest possible definition of "competition."

So Franken steals money from little kids and says he doesn't have to pay it back, but will because of what a great guy he is? And this creep wants to tell us how to behave? The guy's no better than a gangster!
