The answers might surprise you (or maybe not). Ever wonder why CNN and Time are so blatantly pro-islamic. Ever wonder why these weasels want are tooo eager to toe liberal / islamic propaganda??
A good chunk of AOL Time Warner is owned by Prince Alwaleed Ibn Talal the Saudi billionaire. It is well known that Prince AlWaleed is a front for the Saudi royal family. All of the oil money that is swindled from Aramco the Saudi oil company is "invested" by Prince Al Waleed and his company.

"Where does Soros fit in this picture?"
from Bloomberg:
Soros Fund Management LLC purchased 2.6 million shares of Time Warner Inc., operator of the No. 2 U.S. cable business, according to a filing with the SEC. Those shares were valued at $50.5 million as of Dec. 31 [2004], according to the filing. New York- based Soros Fund Management reported no holdings of Time Warner during the third quarter.

-end-
So as far as Time Warner, Soros has a (relatively) small stake. At the end of 2004, Soros had 2.6MM shares out of approx. 4.5B total shares so less than 1/10th of 1%.
This assumes he has made no other investments through other companies. But a $50MM call probably is good enough to get his calls returned.

IMHO Soros is a front man whatever he says and does look in the other direction and you will find the truth, while he is holding hands with Marc Rich.
This is a snip of how big money works. WE have a fairly good list of the movers and shakers. But its not going to do us any good. LOL
"[Ira Korff] is a direct descendant of the Baal Shem Tov, the 18th century founder of the Hasidic movement ...
About 10 years ago Korff decided to continue the family tradition by succeeding his deceased grandfather as 'Grand Rabbi' ...
Korff says that the worst purveyor of violence and profanity on TV is Music Television (MTV), which is owned by Viacom. But, he adds, 'I have no interest in attacking Viacom, and MTV is an ethically run business.'
After all, much of his own wealth was made while serving as president and later consultant to National Amusements Inc., a large movie-theatre chain which holds the majority of shares in Viacom, the world's second-largest media company (to AOL Time Warner Inc.)
Furthermore, his first wife, Shari Redstone, is the daughter of [Jewish mogul] Sumner Redstone, chairman and CEO of Viacom, and Korff's three children from that marriage will like profit from their grandfather's fortune. Forbes recently estimated Redstone's personal wealth at $14 billion."

Wow, a Saudi owns a stake in CNN? Not exactly something I'd be touting if I owned CNN. One can only wonder how much this has influenced coverage.
