It will be great to have you back. Hope that you can bring your whole group.
Incidentally, the route, that I suggested to you and that burned you when you tried it a few weeks back, has worked incredibly well the last two weeks. No guarantee, but it often is better than that parking lot disguised as an interstate. Of course, rain messes up all the routes.

Hope that you all can make it tonight. We need all the people that we can get. Some of our usual group are away.
Bring rain gear just in case. Of course, JVB will tell you that "it never rains on DC Chapter!"

As he was going back to argue with the leftists, I said, "Be careful, they can get violent when someone dares to disagree with them."
The soldier laughed and replied, "I've been in war for a year. I think I can handle them." Kinda says it all, doesn't it? Great job, as usual, Bill! Americans, and especially our military personnel and their families, need to see us standing up for our military and taking back our streets!

I have a serious request for all Freepers and Lurkers In Good Standing who live within a decent driving distance from DC: I will not be able to be at Walter Reed this Friday. I need someone to stand in for me this Friday night at Walter Reed. Will one of you who has been thinking to yourself, "One of these days, I'm going to go down to Walter Reed and let our wounded soldiers that I support them," please do me a HUGE FAVOR and come on out this Friday? I'll owe you one. tgslTakoma has done so much for this Walter Reed effort, I sincerely hope that one of you FReepers/lurkers within an hour or so of D.C. will be inspired to come out in her place tonight.

But he said that since he was with a Guard Unit he was only disabled on weekend a month. Had to leave at that point.
was he serious. Or was his attitude so positive that he made that as a joke? Is that true about national guard?
