Agreed. Allen has experience as governor, and has won elections. Rice would be a great boon to the ticket.

Definetly more likely Allen-Rice than Rice-AllenI don't know. Sitting senators have a very poor record in presidential elections, although a race between two senators will cancel out that stat.
From what little I've heard about Allen, I definitely like him, but I still believe Condi would make a better candidate. I'd take her over McCain by far, even if I have to write her in during the primary.
