The drug is involved but is not the direct source of the deaths.
Post Partum Sepsis from retained fetal or placental parts is the most likely source.

What gets me is they won't pull RU486 when we know these 4 women have died after taking it. Involved, directly responsible, whatever the case may be, the drug is still available.
They yanked a promising new MS drug when 2 patients died. I was hoping to learn more to see if it would help me.
Am I surprised? No. Frustrated? Absolutely.

Possibly. Its not a simple quick fix for getting rid of a pregnancy. Like any drug, it has its side effects. But the advocates of women's health don't want to highlight the obvious dangers since that would call into question their precious abortion. Yeah, there's no bias here.
