Breaking. The bulletin above was the entire story.
Wish her well.
From WXIA-TV/DT Atlanta:
11Alive confirmed that Coretta Scott King, 78, was admitted to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta on Tuesday morning.
Piedmont hospital does not release the conditions of patients, but told 11Alive that King was resting comfortably.
11Alive was expecting an update from a family spokesperson.
King was born April 27, 1927. She is the widow of civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Since Dr. King's assassination in 1968, Coretta Scott King has devoted much of her time to The King Center in Atlanta. The King Center assists in organizing community service projects and promotes community service and interracial cooperation.
Blessings and prayers
Prayers...
My prayers for her.
Hopefully she is just having a bunion removed, which would explain the Fox News Alert.
Prayers for her recovery!
Prayers for her.
I join in prayer for her healing!!!
Only if the removed bunion was somehow a clue in the Natalie Holloway disappearance then it would definitely have been a Fox News Alert.
Don't you know that since there is no sign of Natalee Holloway in Aruba or Alabama, there never was a Natalee Holloway. Isn't that the way it worked with the WMDs?
When it comes to national figures, yes, we do have a need to know.
Normally I would agree with you but she is not in elected office, she is not a movie star or a person seeking any sort of publicity. She is just an old woman who is ill and deserves not to have a bunch of vultures outside her hospital clamoring to picture of her looking ill.
Prayers for Mrs. King.
She's no youngster, so even a head cold potentially could be serious. I wish her well too. I often think her husband is spinning in his grave when he sees what his "descendants" (Jessie Jackson, et al.) have done to his dream.
We will have to disagree.
Prayers for Mrs. King and her family.
