Anti war protestor Cindy Sheehan made an appearance on CNN's 'Anderson Cooper 360' Monday night, denying remarks that her son Casey Sheehan 'had joined the Army to protect American and not Israel.'
Her controversial comments were put on the public record just a few days ago in a letter to ABC's Nightline.
Monday night on CNN, Sheehan told Cooper, 'I didn't say that my son died for Israel. I've never said that.'
'I saw somebody write that and it wasn't my words. Those aren't even words that I would say.' I do believe that the Palestinian issue is a hot issue that needs to be solved but I never said my son died for Israel.'
Cooper asked numerous times if she was sure whether or not she said the statement but Sheehan denied the remarks.
The Nightline letter was confirmed by ABC News which said that Ms. Sheehan had indeed signed the letter.

If that letter has been confirmed, as someone else posted, then she's a flat-out liar. But she's made plenty of other public anti-Israel/blame the Jews statements that she should be called on. Maybe she could be used to call attention to the strong anti-Israel views of UFPJ, ANSWER, Code Pink, etc.

Medea Benjamin was just on Hannity's radio show and mentioned that Cindy Sheehan first called Code Pink back around the RNC Convention to help her with lining up speaking engagements against President Bush
Well .. there goes the excuse the Code Pink is using her
She joined them voluntarily

See #82, dug up the source of the report.
thx much.
I'm still looking ... But I did find this video of a March 19, 2005 protest rally at Fort Bragg
She is at the end of the video .. she claims we were starving the troops .. that they had Vietnam era armer and they were rationed to only 3 bullets per week
is that jennene godawfulho picking the lice out of her hair???
Is that a tattoo? If it is it must be really new. Here is a picture that isn't that old of her. Maybe that is something else.
That's straight from the mouth of Pat Buchanan.
Interesting. At first I wondered if it might be an ankle bracelet, but it doesn't look like one. I say it's a tattoo, and thank you for proving that it must be new.
Makes her look like even more like a tool. Heheheh.
She protests too much. Let her sue the reporter in question for libel if he misquoted her.
The truth is that the old hag, who I used to feel sad for before she began relieving herself on her heroic son's grave, is an anti-Semite, just as much of the left are anti-Semitic. She does not have the brass to admit it, but she is an anti-Semite, as are most of the other idiots who constantly rant in code about the "neo-cons" who they say are directing American foreign policy.
FWIW, I'm not even Jewish. But the bigotry of these people offends me-as does their cowardice: they spew their racist venom in code because they don't even have the guts to just come right out and say what they really think.
Perhaps we should pray that this woman, by the Grace of God, comes to terms with her hatred and her grief, but I will have to leave that to better people to do. I'm sick of her.
You're kidding me, right? I grew up in Texas (still a Texan...) and I never drank more than 3 or 4 of those things in my life. Now Shiner Bock, that's another story.
Most of the pictures I have seen of Cindy for the last few days have had her wearing socks up past where that tattoo may be. So it could tattoo, I am just not sure yet. I guess we need to see what the photos look like from now on. And she just might try and hide the tattoo from now on.
Makes her look like even more like a tool. Heheheh.
If she just got a tattoo after hanging out with this bunch of losers for a week or so she is a bigger tool than I thought.
I agree 100%. There is no place for anti-Semitism whether it be either overt or implied.
She is in urgent need of a dumb ass vaccine!!
She needs more than that -- might I suggest a colonoscopy without anesthesia but with a sharp instrument conducted by the high priestess of the colon herself -- Katie Colonic!
I don't drink any of it--as far as I'm concerned, you can put it back in the horse! However, I know a lot of folks who love Shiner and Shiner Bock, too.
However, Sheehan has gone off the deep end with her anti-Israel remarks and other crazy rants. What is far worse, a lot of very unsavory individuals and groups have glommed onto her lately. This especially includes the George Soros-controlled MoveOn organization. MoveOn's backers do not want peace. They want to control us, by assimilating us into a New World Order empire!!!!
Making Bush look bad is part of their strategy. They tried to get their puppet Kerry into the White House, and now they are working to get their close associate the Hildebeast in there! Sheehan is simply a not-so-bright pawn in their game.
News reports regularly claim that until a few years ago the Arab-American community was a pariah, yet every "pro-Israel liberal" in the country was indirectly supporting the PLO and opposing Israel by supporting groups who were avowedly anti-Israel. Yet for some reason this is still news.
Anti-semitic "conservatives" and "pro-Israel" liberals have had their heads rammed up their butts for fifty years. Every politically correct cause during all that time has been allied with the PLO--every one of them--yet both the Left and the Right still instinctively react with surprise whenever the implicit is made explicit.
The only change that has occurred is the fact that the American Far Left used to routinely omit the Israel/"Palestine" issue because in America the pro-Israel position was the "liberal" position for so long. But they were still in quasi-alliance with the PLO during all that time.
I'll never understand why so many people think that implying someone is anti-Israel is going to damage them. Has no one here read the editorials of the New York Timess?
It isn't being anti-Israel but being pro-Israel that has an onus attached to it by not only fringe Leftists but mainstream liberal society.
People used to accuse the Jesuits of this kind of obfuscation.
