Anti war protestor Cindy Sheehan made an appearance on CNN's 'Anderson Cooper 360' Monday night, denying remarks that her son Casey Sheehan 'had joined the Army to protect American and not Israel.'
Her controversial comments were put on the public record just a few days ago in a letter to ABC's Nightline.
Monday night on CNN, Sheehan told Cooper, 'I didn't say that my son died for Israel. I've never said that.'
'I saw somebody write that and it wasn't my words. Those aren't even words that I would say.' I do believe that the Palestinian issue is a hot issue that needs to be solved but I never said my son died for Israel.'
Cooper asked numerous times if she was sure whether or not she said the statement but Sheehan denied the remarks.
The Nightline letter was confirmed by ABC News which said that Ms. Sheehan had indeed signed the letter.

John "Pretty Pony" Edwards probably sent his hairdresser to Crawford.
My first choice is a local Boston Beer called Harpoon IPA. Great stuff.
We have a bar in Boston called Sunset Grille. 110 on tap and 350 in bottles. Lonestar is on the menu.
:-)
I agree, but, she seems to be learning very quickly.......
hehehe
She looks like someone beat her with the dreaded "ugly stick".........
And, this is AFTER her make-over?? WOW!! Maybe "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" can make an exception and do something for her. I doubt if it will work. Ugly is as ugly does!!
What Cindy said after the first meeting with our President!
'I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis,' Cindy said after their meeting. 'I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith.'
"The meeting didn't last long, but in their time with Bush, Cindy spoke about Casey and asked the president to make her son's sacrifice count for something. They also spoke of their faith.
"The trip had one benefit that none of the Sheehans expected.
"For a moment, life returned to the way it was before Casey died. They laughed, joked and bickered playfully as they briefly toured Seattle.
For the first time in 11 weeks, they felt whole again.
"'That was the gift the president gave us, the gift of happiness, of being together,' Cindy said."
To this just the other day:Since she is best friends with Michael Pig Moore and the other liberal scumbags..
"It was -- you know, there was a lot of things said. We wanted to use the time for him to know that he killed an indispensable part of our family and humanity. And we wanted him to look at the pictures of Casey.
"He wouldn't look at the pictures of Casey. He didn't even know Casey's name. He came in the room and the very first thing he said is, 'So who are we honoring here?' He didn't even know Casey's name. He didn't want to hear it. He didn't want to hear anything about Casey. He wouldn't even call him 'him' or 'he.' He called him 'your loved one.
>> can't wait to hear your comments when your husband serves you with the divorce papers!!<<
The media's already spinning this, claiming he's divorcing her because of the "stress of losing Casey".
They're making it out to seem that the IRaq war, their son's death, and subsequently President Bush, caused their divorce as well.
Look carefully at the people in this photo.
Why is it that the left wing nuts always have that "No one asked me to the prom" look??
They have that blank, brain dead, zombie look about them.
BUSTED!
Sounds like Cindy chose not to hear the question!
I'm the person who dug up her letter to a person on usenet.
Cindy Sheehan: "My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel."
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1460787/posts
Ironically, it was a letter she sent to Nightline, complaining about how mean Koppel was to her. (He called her "emotional.")
She has written numerous other emails to the same usenet group. She is simply a liar.
"Maybe "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" can make an exception and do something for her."
LOL Even the guys from "Queer Eye" have their limitations!
She better be careful or she'll lose David Duke's endorsement. (NAW! Never happen. He knows how she really feels.)
True, but I think the media is starting to tire of her routine. How many times can she repeat the same thing?
And by continuing to answer the question incorrectly, Cindy makes the case against herself that her motives are less than pure.
Everything is President Bush's fault.
So what else is new???????
On second thought, she does appear to be beyond help, does't she?? (in MORE ways than one)
Casey Sheehan's actions in life are the antithesis of and a direct repudiation of Cindy Sheehan's views and actions!
