Anti war protestor Cindy Sheehan made an appearance on CNN's 'Anderson Cooper 360' Monday night, denying remarks that her son Casey Sheehan 'had joined the Army to protect American and not Israel.'
Her controversial comments were put on the public record just a few days ago in a letter to ABC's Nightline.
Monday night on CNN, Sheehan told Cooper, 'I didn't say that my son died for Israel. I've never said that.'
'I saw somebody write that and it wasn't my words. Those aren't even words that I would say.' I do believe that the Palestinian issue is a hot issue that needs to be solved but I never said my son died for Israel.'
Cooper asked numerous times if she was sure whether or not she said the statement but Sheehan denied the remarks.
The Nightline letter was confirmed by ABC News which said that Ms. Sheehan had indeed signed the letter.

"So long as I look good during my close-up"
I recognize Cindy in the pic....but who's the guy doing her hair?
Very funny :-)
this fiasco is sickening to our men and women in the military. This liberal rat has no shame...none at all.
Beat me to it. I never tired of seeing the Lone Star Beer truck pulling into Security Hill at Kelly AFB.
Love the stuff.
Now Pearl Light, that is vile stuff.
My thoughts exactly. Professional help, and she still looks like that.
Cindy has repeatedly blamed the evil Jews for heaven knows what. Now she is Clintonian parsing and backtracking under the advice of the democrat party and Michael Moore.
Lice inspection?
I didn't know Supercuts made housecalls.
Pearl and Lone Star have both been reformulated since their breweries got bought out and moved to Dallas.
Although everything she does is offensive to me, she is doing great work in identifying the Loony Left with the Democrats. Let Cindy be Cindy!

A liar needs to have a good memory.
I did not know that. Pearl was aweful. The only beer that i did not finish.
I still buy Lonestar from time to time. When I go to a bar in Boston that serves it, I always order it and make a toaste to the President. I get some nervous smiles and thumbs up but also some angry students trying to debate.
Cindy had better watch out, Johnny McVain will be jealous and steal her makeup chair!
I'm surprised that Lone Star gets all the way up there.
I'll drink it around here but not always my first choice.
The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not "insurgents" or "terrorists" or "The Enemy." They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?....I oppose the U.N. or anyone else risking the lives of their citizens to extract us from our debacle...the majority of Americans supported this war once it began and, sadly, that majority must now sacrifice their children until enough blood has been let that maybe -- just maybe -- God and the Iraqi people will forgive us in the end.- Michael Moore
Well now I read her letter where she said clearly that the war was all about protecting Israel and the troops are over there for Israel. This women is a liar! Her 15 minutes are up!
