See it really is a matter of taste, I always thought Lohan was a cow. I really like women to be thin. I do not have a problem feeling as though I am the bad guy for that. I feel like I am a normal guy not a homo fashion guy or anything. I just think fat makes women masculine which is a turn off.
When I look around at kids nowadays I really don't see anything approaching an anorexia problem.

It's not just the land of TV and movies.

In real life, I often see attractive, fit women with overweight (not morbidly so, but noticeably) out-of-shape men.

It's on TV because it's believable.

Very few women choose physical attractiveness over other attributes in a long term relationship, and very few women are willing to end such a relationship simply because their boyfriend/husband has let himself go.

For women, relative physical attractiveness is a bonus. For men, it's a sine qua non. Has been since the beginning of time.
