The Talk Shows
Sunday, August 14th, 2005
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; U.S. ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalil-zad.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Khalilzad; Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong; Khalilzad; former Metropolitan Museum of Art Director Thomas Hoving.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sens. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and Bill Nelson, D-Fla.; Khalilzad; Israeli Vice Premier Shimon Peres; Palestinian Foreign Minister Nasser al-Kidwa; former Defense Secretary William Cohen; former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
Notice Jamie Gorelick, 9/11, and Able Danger is not being discussed. However, George Stepponallofus has Lance Armstrong!
OK, everyone start bashing Lance Armstrong. You know the talking points: drugs, left his wife, he only rides a bike, etc., etc.
I would only hope that each one of thes interviewees will be asked what their thoughts are on the Able Danger revelation and the 911 commission report. I won't hold my breath, except for FoxNews.

Morning AB. Thanks for the schedule...
My goodness, McCain, Biden, Dean and Lugar I see normal servie is resumed this Sunday
I do wonder about the MSM ignoring the Able Danger story. It's more important than Lance, or McCain and Biden's contiuous, never-ending, and mistaken opinions about things.
Not one mention of Able Danger. I have checked several of the major newspapers and they are not covering it either.
So do I. What I can't understand is the multitudes of FReepers who do want to bash him. Most of them don't have any time for France, and Lance really stuck his thumb in their collective eye.
Good morning, Alas. I want to watch Biden to see if he can follow his new order and not run off at the mouth. I am hoping that he will fail in his self-control :)
Congress is on vacation and look who stayed in town to run things, the speech god himself, McCain.
Wonder when his vacation with Hillry to Alaska is to begin, right after the show???
They're going to go watch the icebergs melt. LOL.
Thanks a lot for your hard work again
McCain, Biden, Dean, Lugar, Nelson, Cohen, Kissinger?
We are surely blessed! ;)
The usual suspects.
LOL. McCain sure knows who and where the action is. He'll probably come back convinced the draft need be reinstated.
The BIGGEST news of the day, I see, is nowhere on the shows' radar.
