All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

War! - huh- yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War! – huh – yeah-
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y’all
War! – huh – good God
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me…

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
Yes, how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

All we are saying is give peas a chance
All we are saying is give peas a chance

I trust you see now why I thought the comment about six weeks was funny?

The Undead Thread is a bit like a forum in itself, but for most of us, it's a pressure release mechanism. We have a lot of fun, and despite all of our efforts, sometimes we actually learn something useful.

I googled it. They were Russian mafia dressed as harmless Teddy Bears chasing rabbits.

I do not chase rabbits.

I set snares.

Thanks for the invite. By my screen name I guess you can tell I'm a history buff (both the Civil War and WW2), so if you have any questions feel free to throw them my way.

I have come up with a new term, and am submitting it for lexicographic review

Dopus: noun - the stereotypical forum "suicide note" or "opus", but executed VERY poorly.

special attention to Timpad, as I know you have a ratings system for trolls.

You never know... Someday the terms might end up in Webster's.

Have you heard that the Hunley was preceded by a still earlier version of a submersible craft developed by the South? In New Orleans, of all places.

It beat the Hunley by several years, but it had no significance to the war, since New Orleans was taken out quite early in the conflict.

The problem is one that is long standing.

Have you ever read Consuelo Vanderbilt's autobiography?

She brings up the heating problem although alas she is completely mum on the subject of toilet paper.

Gee...I watch a lot of History Channel and Discovery Channel and even Nature, Nova and The Learning Channel...I am especially interested in history up to and including the Korean War, so I will most certainly keep you in mind when I have a question.

Do you like astronomy? We have a really great observatory, and the library is hugh with lots of series books. Some epople get really stuned when they check things out here because of all the owrk...

And if you have any questions about the castle, SOMEone will answer...whether or not it's correct is beside the point...

Perhaps you could help me arrange the library into a more "user friendly" room? There's a fireplace there, and lots of furs, as well as "room service" so it should be a nice place to visit for you. We've been collecting books for a long time. Let us know what you would like to do here.

:o]
