Now I went into the bar the other night and sat down next to this guy -- he was one of those tough old geezers that looked like he was around 342 -- hard and slim as a hickory axe handle. Contrary to his looks he was commiserating with the bartender about his health. I asked, "What's the trouble?" and he told me, in kind of a half-whisper, "It's yoorz. Got it real bad." Not being in the medical field, myself, I asked him, "What's yoorz?"

Well, I still haven't watched LOTR yet.

Once we start the engines for lift-off, we will soon be in a go/no-go situation for a few seconds, and then the only thing to do is ride the comet upward!

Splashing back down, even from just a few feet up, would be disastrous to the equipment. If we rise to the point of clearing the water and are still moving upward, we will continue all the way to orbit.

Having arrived in orbit, and establishing our spin, if we need to replenish our propellant gases before going further, we will do that with the shuttles.

I think I'm just getting the pre-flight jitters. We'll send the shuttles, the lunar pod, and the robots up to the moon shortly. That will give us a proof of concept.

I am confident.

The new 10 gallon tank is up and running. I filled it with water, and it doesn't seem to be leaking. I'll let it run a couple of days to make sure, and then I'll add the plant bulbs and Winston.
