just so long as BG gets recorded ;)
Dang, baby...I sure wish I knew how to help. If I were there (wherever "there" is) I'd run interference for you until you got into your office.
Then I'd do what I could to make sure folks looked the other way while your credentials were being updated.
:o[
Threats will avail you naught. I do not plan to fail, yet all modes of failure must be considered, and dealt with.
Just as we moved the castle before without disturbing things, including the fires in the fireplaces, and the sleepers in their beds, so we will again strive for that smooth efficiency.
An increase in gravitaional pressure is unavoidable, it is the price to pay for being lifted up.
Very, very up. It will seem to go on forever, and it will be difficult to breathe under the pressure. If you are not as healthy as John Glenn, you need to be in a different place.
But our launch will not be as strenuous as that of shuttle astronauts. If you are in normal health, you shoud have little difficulty.
Hey! I used to hold my breath til I turned blue! I bet I can do it again!
Just hold my hand, Bob...I can face it all...;o]
(I've read your books, remember?...)
What's the "different place" you're talking about????? (sounds kinda ominous to me) : )
well, Monkey Face cannot record BG, as she doesn't have SciFi (the HORROR!)
can anyone else record tonight's episode for me?
I don't have cable, nor satellite, almost never watch tv, so I can't volunteer, although if I coulda, I woulda....
Help?? Thanks for the offer but there's nothing for it. These people are a HUGE tech firm, with all of the resources one could ask for and this badging system is STILL a pen-and-paper routine with a signature loop that may cross multiple time zones.
The anachronism is staggering, like sliding into the leather seat of your brand new, Cadillac CTS and finding an old Delco am radio poking out of the dashboard.
BUT!!!
I offered!
AND!!!
I offered!
Well, I was watching the History Channel's cool 2-hour programme on the development and evolution of dog fighting.
*hanging head in shame. going to corner. sucking thumb.*
Dang! Where was I when this was on???
I finally watched "The Life of Brian."
WOO-HOO!
(And I thought I was a "late-bloomer!")
Albatross!
Wait.. that was.. nevermind.
;-)
Life's a piece of...oh well, you know the rest. :-)
It was on the air from 7pm to 9pm CDT.
It is on again this evening from 11pm to 1am CDT.
... if the old VHS tape holds together,
and if there is enough room left on it where I popped it in, (just after an episode of "Wishbone" ... yes, it is that old!)
and if everything is set up correctly ...
... it's recording.
Thank God I don't have to watch it. That's what machines are for.
