Once in custody, she told Ralston she thought the justice system was unfair and didn't want more time added to her husband's already lengthy sentence.

I have to admit that her husband's sentence really surprised me. In fact, my opinion of the state of Tennessee went up dramatically when I heard that a quasi-humanoid mutant can get 35 years for armed robbery there.

Now they will get even higher in the opinion ranking if they give her the death penalty she so richly deserves, and they also fry him for being accessory to the murder and evasion.
