How about a thumbnail report of your rout?

There were about sixteen FReepers parked on the two far corners opposite the entrance to Walter Reed opposite eleven (at their highest number) Code Pink-Os.

Strategically, we FReepers had better visibility to traffic traveling north and south along Georgia Avenue, and received far more honks from traffic.

The FReepers' Mother Of All Banners (MOAB) dwarfed anything and everything the Pink-Os possessed. And can be seen eaily from Walter Reed's Wards windows.

Where FReepers signs are more diverse, towards the Military and its Mission on one side. Slamming Code Pink on the opposite sides. All the Pink-Os have to offer is "Save Walter Reed" and grossly exaggerated, sadly scribbled numbers of soldiers and civilians killed on Poster/Construction paper. Sadly, their mindset has never left the 1960s. They want attention NOW! And as such, I guess three of those who showed tonight will not return next Friday.

Towards nine, we moved much as we did last Friday, to occupy three corners opposite the Pink-Os one. Seeing themselves outnumbered and Out General'ed, the Pink-Os wrapped up early, around 9:30. Lest they collectively got flipped off, again; by the busload of arriving wounded GIs arriving from Andrews AFB. Or ambulatory patient GI's who were allowed out on the town at Fran O'Brien's Steakhouse at 16th & K Street after a free steak dinner.

Jack.
