Dry and Desperate (Rain Please... and a Noose for Gorelick)
Free Republic ^ | 8/11/05 | self

I'm sorry folks....... I had to vent............ a silly vanity.

I have a small nursery in PA..........which is only watered by a fine and deep well with hoses all over the acres....... and, the grace of God ......... RAIN.

Well............ we are having a serious draught here in Southwestern, PA.

I'm going nuts watering by hand 20 hours a day, mosquitoes, flies, and yellow jackets dealing with my attention.

While I'm out watering under the lights tonight, here's wishing all FReepers fine days and good health........ and may the truth of 'Able Danger' and Jamie Gorelick/Clinton/Berger finally be told.

I'm a little daffy having been up for about 60+ hours straight.............. but please keep the pressure on your congress-critters on Jamie Gorelick and help representative Weldon............ and please send your FReeper vibes out for some substatial rain in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh. My plants are needy.

Thanks......... and God blesses Free Reoublic.

You poor thing. I sometimes have to water around here for 2-3 hours a day and I can't imagine having to water for several hours. Gorelick needs the noose as well as about 90% of the rest of the D.C. folks. I'm disgusted with the lot of them.

We are sending you a hurricane, unless the Carolinas snag it on the way. You can have all of them, if we can get Fedex to handle delivery, LOL

Hang in there, rain will be coming your way - hopefully, sooner than later. Imagine this, we got some good rains in August - something unheard of in Texas. So if it can happen here, it will happen your way.

About the "Able Danger" affair, I wonder why no entity is broadcasting this shameful scandal other than Rush & Hannity? Dont bother answering, it was strictly rhetorical?
Can anyone speak about this that all sides will listen to?
This smothers anything that the media covers - Sheehan, Rove, Roberts, etc.

Gorelick is taking the heat for Clinton. Typical Clinton, though. She should have known that as a woman, she'd be expected to take the fall.

Prayers for rain going up for you. We're 10-12 inches below average for the year in central OK, and even the well-watered plants looked like they'd been under a broiler.

BUT...some clouds popped up this afternoon and WOW...temp dropped 30deg in 20min, straightline winds of 65-85mph and BUCKETS of RAIN, so we'll sleep well tonight. :) (BTW, I'll pray He omits the wind for you ;)

We're in the middle of a four year drought here in SE Wisconsin. We'll pray for rain for all of us.

I'm doing a raindance for you, live from little Washington.

I'm about 40 miles south of you and know what you're talking about.

As for Gorelick,a rope's too good for her.

Best Wishes.

Serious drought?! What, you guys didn't get the nasty thunderstorms that went through here (eastern OH) about 3 days ago?

OK, so that was the first rain we had gotten in over a month...

Yikes, 20 hrs a day watering, God bless ya. Come to think of it, I better go water my flowers and herbs and veggies too...course it'll only take me about a half hour.

Hope you get some of those forecasted storms that never seem to actually show up. And some sleep too. :)
