Go to their donations page and you will see that it claims 501(c)(3) status. This is reserved for charitable organizations, not political organizations. This should be a PAC or a 501(c)(4) at the very least. Is anyone investigating this? They should not be tax deductible.

So she can continue to dishonor her son's sacrifice.

To spend. I wish someone would just go ahead and dig out some good evidence of her former position on the subject - and how she was happy with her visit with GW - until there is now a paycheck available to say otherwise.
As I stated on another thread a week or so ago - it's about time for an investigation into her finances.

Why are Demokratic-front organizations like the NAACP, moveon.com and a crowd of other leftist groups given 501 (C) tax status while Free Republic, the NRA & other righteous groups are denied that status?
Tell me and we'll both know.

The answer is quite simple and elegant (sarcasm intended)....
Leftist causes are "in the public interest", while conservative ideas are radical and anti-diversity. We just can't have conservative ideas spread freely.

Depending on how long they have been around you might find 990 dtaa on them at guidestar.org.
FYI, the nonprofits laws in America need to be significantly changed. Make "charities" be entities that actually help people again.

They have not filed a 990 yet. I can't find where they are incorporated. Anyone know? Perhaps I missed something on the website.

I believe that you are what you register or claim to be. The IRS is responsible for enforcing the rules. Sometimes it takes a long time for things to be discovered and sometimes they are never discovered based on who is running what or what is politically expedient. This has always be a SOP I think.

No EIN, no 501(c)(3) or any other kind of organization either.

Well, that just blows then doesn't it?
Which institution should we take a walk through after we're done with the CIA & UN--I vote for the IRS (AKA Bill Clinton's personal `knee-cappers').

Please ignore comment #14. I was mistaken.
Some nonprofits don't file a 990 (which is the "income tax return" used by nonprofits). All sorts of complicated rules. But under certain circumstances, no 990 need be filed.

All the DUmmies are stealing money from their mother's purses to send to her.
To: tumblindice
They get away with that by separating the business into parts. For example "MoveOn.org Civic Action" is a 501C4 while the MoveOn Pac is supposed to do all the political stuff and the actual website Moveon.org is not legally the same as either.
The NRA could set up an education non-profit that promised not to engage in political activity if they wanted using the same strategy.
