Would love to ask Sandy "Burglar" that question...

Clinton's legacy...not a damn thing good about it.

"What else didn't make it into the 9/11 report?"

LOTS AND LOTS.... check out this thread on the soon-to-be-infamous Dietrich Snell:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1461535/posts

I thought I had become cynical before, but I REALLY am incredulous at this stuff... not that people like Gorelick and Snell would try to cover up the past, but that other people with plenty of knowledge have (so far) allowed and enabled them to do so....

Salmon Pak didn't make it into the final report, although it was in a staff report in December 2003.

I don't think there was mention of Gore's Commission that declared cockpit doors should be secured to prevent hijacking and taking over the plane, but then the Clinton administration backed down when the airlines balked and Tom Daschle's wife (lobbyist) worked on him.

I don't believe there was any mention of this:

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper “Al-Nasiriya” carried a column headlined, “American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin.” (July 21, 2001)

In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US “with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.”

The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden “will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,” and that the US “will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs” – an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, “New York, New York”.

There are hundreds more of these that were not in the 9/11 Commission Report.

Among the most critical facts to be determined, if the information about Atta did exist in 2000, would be who then blocked the intelligence from going to the FBI, which could have tracked down the terror cell.

Kinda like the Warren Report with no mention of Lee Harvey Oswald.

"What else didn't make it into the 911 report?"

What kind of attacks the "Second wave" attacks were to be. IN the report it said KSM said he was too busy to pursue those, but omitted what they were to be.

This, for one thing:

Iraq Pre-War Intelligence Report: Additional Views of Chairman Pat Roberts joined by Senator Christopher S. Bond, Senator Orrin G. Hatch

The Democrats wouldn't agree to include it.

Fortunately, with FR and the New Media, the Truth has a way of bubbling to the surface.

How about the info about Building 7 and how Silverstein said to implode it? Yeah, imagine, NOTHING about Building 7's collapse made it into the report. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?!

On Wednesday, a source familiar with the Sept. 11 commission — formally known as the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (search) — told FOX News that aides who still had security clearances had gone back to the National Archives outside Washington, D.C., to review notes on Atta and any information the U.S. government had on him and his terror cell before the Sept. 11 attacks.

I guess Sandy B. didn't get all the documents. Depending on which "staff" members these might be, no one else may ever "get" them either.

There is no reason, other than cya, as to why pre-9/11 information concerning the hijackers did not make it into the report of the commission.

It originally appeared that the 911 Commission was extraordinarily inept and predisposed to slant its findings in favor of clintoon to the detriment of the current administration. It now appears that only the second part of that statement is true. They were far from inept (well, the Pubs were inept).

The dems were actually very skilled in carrying out the true purpose of the Commission --which apparently was to obscure the fact that the clintonistas were in possession of ample information in advance of the plot, but the innate nature of the America-hating, criminal-loving left-wing dimocrats prevented any semblance of effective law enforcement in the matter.

I'm thinking that some evidence about Hussein's ties to Al-Qaeda were ignored too.
