"One *ping* only, Vasily..."
Bumping da media whore
I'd guess she's poisoning the well of public opinion with regard to any future complaints from grieving parents. Her (near?) insanity sets a benchmark of an overwrought drama queen that will be recalled by the public.
< But Cindy isn't really dealing with a family tragedy anymore, her son died over a year ago. She could still be grieving, but everybody dies, and I would guess over half of the parents in this country today have had to deal with the death of a child. >
Whoa! This is something one should never generalize about or take lightly. Trust me, she is grieving. She's crazy, but she's grieving. She just won't let herself get past the anger. Unfortunately, she's letting it turn her into a raving lunatic. Shame on the libs for fanning the flames.
No one who hasn't lost a child can ever know the devastation. You never get "over" it. You just get better. It was 5 years before I saw my brother in a truly happy moment after his son died.
Ms. Sheehan: "Thank God for the internet"
the internet will be your downfall, media whore.
Cindy says she had 4 interviews scheduled with NBC
2 were canceled
2 were a no show
then she says that "we all know who owes NBC"
??? ... Not sure what that means
She says that they don't want to get this story
At the end someone asks if this call was confidential and can they blog it
The answer was yes they can blog it
bttt
The sound quality wasn't great so it really sounded like dog to me, but if it's daughter-in-law I'm relieved! Not that that makes them all any less psycho...
I thought I heard .... jodie@codepinkalert.org
That it will be. Obviously, she has no idea of the power of FR! LOL
"she claims the Secret Service intimidated her but telling her that she should be careful at night because she get run over by a car
she says she took that as a threat on her life"
Cindy's been spreading that manure for a while:
"Like last night, the Secret Service kept warning us that if we stayed wed probably be hit by a car. I called my friends and had them post on the Daily Kos what the Secret Service was saying. Because I just wanted America to know that if we got hit by a car last night, it probably would have been the Secret Service.
They were intimidating us into leaving, thats for sure. So we put that out on the internet, because I know that the more people know Im here and whats going on, the less chance of anything happening."
Daily Kos: Interview with Cindy Sheehan on Laura Flanders
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/8/8/145039/7416
She said, and this is almost verbatim:
OK, I'm going to ask him, What the noble cause was that Casey Died for. Because I don't believe that a, um, a war of aggression against a country that was not threat to the united states of america is a noble cause. And I want him, but you know, I know what the reason, what Dan Burkowski(?) said the noble cause was is the real reason.
I want to ask him if this is such a noble cause, ah does he encourage his own daughters to enlist, to take the place of some soldiers who might want to come home, you know who are stop-lossed and being held hostage over there.
And, um, Another thing I want him to do is to stop saying that We have to honor the sacrifices of the fallen by completing the mission, because number one he has no idea what the mission is, and it keeps changing every day, they are building bases the size of sacremento california. they intend on them never(?) being out of Iraq. The only way they can honor my son's sacrifice is to bring the troops home.
So, That is what she thinks is so important to tell the president.
Later, she said:
this, trust me, is a bigger story than Natalie Holloway, which is a tragedy for one family, but what we are doing out here, is to try to save MILLIONS of families from going through tragedy.
She calls herself a "grieving mother sitting outside the ranch.".
She said one thing that is correct. She said that without the internet we wouldn't know what was REALLY going on in Iraq. Certainly we agree that we can't see what GOOD is happening in the war by watching the MSM.
If we can take down a professional liar like Dan Rather, we'd have no problem with this amateur puke Ms. Sheehan :-)
You know, supposedly half the country opposes the war. She says she has the support of over half the country. But there are what, a few hundred at most people at her side? And this is with pretty large media coverage.
This HASN'T really caught on, we of course see the whole thing on the internet.
(I'm listening to the stupid woman from london fawning all over Cindy when I think Cindy was trying to get off the phone. She screams I just want to say something quick but then she goes on for over a minute talking.
Did anybody get the e-mail off: Here is an e-mail to get to Cindy:
jodie@codepinkalert.org
Sounded like she was going to give out her e-mail but someone stopped her and gave that e-mail instead.
She's so stupid it really isn't funny.
I wonder what she would say if somebody told her that her hero site, Daily Kos, was bought and paid for by Howard Dean?
She is a total dupe. Though, she is glad to be a dupe, since she is FAMOUS!!!!!
And deservedly so--not like those damn non-entities Terry Schiavo or Natalie Halloway. Did their sons die in a war they volunteered for?!
The nerve of anybody being in the news but her!
> the internet will be your downfall, media whore.
Ouch. Don't do that. The woman has been manipulated into a bad course of action, but she is still a grieving mom.
Let's not descend to the lib level.
I said she was still grieving. I was just saying that a woman who lost her son over a year ago is not "Dealing with a family tragedy" as a woman who just had their daughter-in-law die did.
Grieving is a state you can be in and I would never question it. "Dealing with a family tragedy" is a comment about a particular TIME when you have to get the affairs in order and deal with the shock. If you are still doing THAT over a year later, it isn't "dealing", it's "NOT DEALING".
And it is obvious that she is done dealing with the tragedy, she has plenty of free time on her hands now.
To those who thought I meant she wouldn't still be grieving, I didn't say that, and I apologize.
Wasn't that a stupid question? Did you hear Joe Trippi snickering in the background like who is this guy?
It bothers me that all those people are involved in this.
These are the Deanics that are behind this
