Able Danger and Posse Comitatus
August 11, 2005 | self

Posted on 08/11/2005 12:03:45 PM PDT by howardl

The activities of the Able Danger project by US military intelligence appear to be at odds with the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 which forbids use of military personnel in domestic policing actions. Apparently some "intelligence support" is permitted under court and executive interpretations of the act. There was anger on the left in the early 1970s when it was learned that military intelligence kept files on (left-leaning) protest (or revolutionary) groups. There was anger on the right in the 1990s when it was learned that military advisors were present at Waco.

Posse comitatus might as well be repealed anyway. When the National Guard gets 95% of its funding from the Federal government, it's the federal military in all but name.

I don't believe, for one single minute, that these enemy Democrats intended to get him, [OBL] or stop any of this from happening.

The current crew [Congress] of degenerate leftists most certainly are in bed with our enemies and that includes the Black Caucus, most all the Democrats and many of the Republican rhinos. [Bernie Sanders is a given]

I think it's neat. Data mining, that is.

Think about it. All this new age stuff of today's noosphere; i.e., global consciousness, the sphere of human thought -- and now on the physical side of things, the sphere of human action, tracing the consequences of a "single flap of the wings of a butterfly" (well, almost).

Computer technology. Ain't it wonderful. Be afraid, be very afraid -- and watch what you do. That's all.

Ah knowed it'd be possible almost forty years ago when they introduced them new fangled, third generation 360 and Cray big iron computers and discovered a way out of spaghetti code.

The only question left is motivation: Why did Bubba lay off AQ?

Strange that Gorelick was not required to fall on her sword to save the Crintons a long time ago. Now there is nothing she can say that will stop the full truth from emerging.

We had a fair idea where all the dots were, Peach, but you did a great job connecting them. Thanks for the summary.

"... Why did Bubba lay off AQ?"

It's about power.

Why did Clinton give secrets to the Chicoms?

It is obvious to me that the Democrats in particular, and others care about power over the welfare [not to be confused with handouts] of this nation.

The liberal Marxists Democrats are much like the Germans and the French. (spit ... spit)

I hear no outrage over the UN from liberals. Contare ... They stuck a stick in the eye of John Bolton. Why? Because he is a straight shooter, a man of integrity and ACTION.

For crying out loud, they persecute this administration as if they were the enemy and give our true enemies nothing but support.

I could go on, but I heard you sigh. ;)

I was alerted to that article by another freeper today and the thanks belongs to him.

I had really thought that Gorelick created that wall to protect Clinton from actually doing something about the first WTC bombing, etc.

It's about power.

Or maybe about powerlessness. In the face of blackmail perhaps? The more that comes out makes me think that even Bubba couldn't have been that arrogant and stupid. Everyone around him wasn't, though they all toed the line. I think someone, or maybe a few someones, had Bubba by his...well, had Bubba right where they wanted him. And we all payed for it.

FWIW, Gorelick isn't the only commissioner who may have Oil For Food ties.

Thanks for that post.

Yet another high crime has been committed because the September 11 Commission did not demand testimony from her.

I'll have to go back and dig around in some of the stuff I printed out, but Paribas reared its ugly head in relation to at least one other commissioner. I'll see if I can find it.

Isn't it interesting that the 9/11 Commission, which took intelligence agencies to task for not sharing information, received itself blockbuster information that our intelligence agencies WERE onto the mastermind of 9/11, but didn't share it with the public?

Pot. Kettle. Black.

I have to leave the computer in a second, mewzilla but will check in later. Don't go nuts trying to find it :-)

Someday I want a seminar on how to organize files.

Interesting take ... Clinton being played like a puppet.

I cant forget his swearing in ceremony when one of the stooges got upset about the flyover until they were told the jets were ours.

Did you ever get a chance to read Richard Miniter's book, Losing Bin Laden? I did. It really got me to thinking.
