The gates to outer space are shut tight by Treaty, and we worry about CAFTA. Seriously, CAFTA is small potatoes compared to the Solar System.

It's a busy night tonight, especially this "breaking news."

A good thing that I can see about CAFTA is that it might decrease our trade with China.

A bad thing is that CAFTA could serve to ban dietary supplements - even basic vitamins and minerals. Haven't we already lost enough of our freedoms?

Diane Alden is one of my favorite writers. I always look for her, as she always nails it.

Find me a place to live on another planet and I'll give up on CAFTA-DR. As long as I'm going to be stuck here, I'm going to say that I think CAFTA-DR is dead wrong.

I agree with you, we entered space. We did the groundwork. Now the globalists want to control that too. What really sucks hind tit, is our leaders are stupid enough to sign on to it.

God, if I hear our space station refered to as a ISS one more friggen time...

Uh!!! Another idiot from the very tiny and very bitter fringe of the Conservative movement writes a very long and a very meaningless article attacking the Republican party and President Bush.

My fellow freepers: Only a Buchanan/Tancredo presidential ticket can save the conservative movement in 2008 (extreme sarcasm).

I hear everything you're saying, my friend. I've felt the same way for several years now, but it's gotten far worse once Bush got re-elected. And I'm sure the unconditional Bushbackers will cream you on your post-but there ARE those on FR that agree with you. I'm one of them. The Repubs are acting more like Dems every day. Micheal Savage said a while back: "The Republican Party of today is the Democratic Party of 20 years ago. The Democratic Party of today is the Socialist Party of tomorrow. Where are the conservatives"?

our leaders are stupid enough

Short-sighted, too. They have no idea what a tax revenue windfall they could realize for the Shining City on the Potomac if they could just let their people go into space on development and commerce. 40 acres and a mule. Whatever.

This will be an important four part series by Diane Alden, check out Newsmax for the details.

Many of us have been thinking about these things, but Diane has put it all together.

The biblical truth "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" described my state of mind on July 27, 2005. That was when the House Republican leadership stopped the clock on the CAFTA vote because they didn't like the way it was going.

Waah!!

Well, the President can't be "Building a North American Community" without CAFTA. Read the CFR report President New World Order has adopted and I mean all 70 pages.

New industry opportunities like this don't come along all that often. The internet was one. Space could be another. Whatever it takes to unlock access, when it is gained, the business opportunities that will result will certainly fill the coffers in D.C. I agree with you.

Say what you will about Buchanon and Tancredo. But Pat was right in '92 about illegal immigration, and Tancredo is right now. I don't say gimme a conservative or else. I will just say we EXPECT republicans to be conservative. It feels like betrayal when they are not.

1. Stop illegal immigration now.

2. Overturn Roe v Wade

3. Keep taxes low.

If you cannot sign on to those three things, what makes you consider yourself a conservative?

what makes you consider yourself a conservative?

Wanting a healthy and fair business environment could be in the list someplace.
