That's exactly what I was thinking! Some felt it was a bit weird that he was supposed to be sentenced a few weeks ago and then, out of the blue, it was postponed. Wonder if this news had anything to do w it - - maybe he decided to sing a little for a lesser sentence??

She was just on the "Your World With Neil Cavuto" repeat on the Fox News Channel. It runs again at 5:00 AM ET. She's almost the first item on the show. I left the TV on and her leftist angst woke me up. She was spouting mostly the same BS as usual. She said that the people responsible for the failure should be fired, not facing reality that all of them are gone as they were Clintionian political appointees and members of his administration.

It said they weren't allowed to give it to the FBI. But this doesn't mean they didn't report it to their Chain of Command. Anyone in the Service could tell you that intelligence is shared upwards better than downwards. And this one would have had a very high visibility to the upper chain of command unless they were asleep at the switch.

The congressman seems to think the Army had their stuff togeather. If so, the latter isn't likely.

I may be wrong on the time of the Cavuto repeat. There may not be one. It always shows at 5:00 AM ET, but on right now is the second O'Reilly Factor in place of the normal Hannity and Colmes repeat. Even FNC's website shows H&C on now, but it isn't. I guess we just have to keep an eye out.

OK, it was the NY times since I'm quoting their article. But there you have it ... Gorelick knew about this before the commission issued the report and thus worked with her fellow commissioners to bury the information.
