The moment I realized who Gorelick was, I lost all respect for that silly commission. Now it's been what, a year or so, they've sold lots of books, and then shazam, what a revelation!
They must think we're stupid.

I always wondered how they knew so much about Atta within hours of the WTC attacks.I didn't. I figured he was under already investigation when they got it all up so quick. There is no other way that it could've happened that quickly.
I don't remember now if I spoke out on that back then or not.
And this...
The second reason they gave them was, were concerned about the political fallout that occurred after Waco... is a piss poor excuse and unadulterated, raw, stinking BS!
The following is speculation!
Waco happened in Feb-April 1993 at the beginning of Cartoon's first term and this didn't happen until 1999 and 2000. In 2000 capturing foreign terrorists planning domestic terrorism would've gotten the Dems another eight or more years in office. It just doesn't make sense.
I believe the Dems/Clinton thought they were going to lose the next election (Bush announced his exploratory committee in March 1999) no matter what they did to try and repair their image and they wanted to cause as much chaos for the incoming Bush admin as they could and ignoring those guys would allow just that to happen when they struck in his first term of office.
They probably didn't think they would be as destructive as they were after their failure on the WTC in Feb. '93. ('93 was a busy year)
I hope I'm wrong in thinking so poorly of my fellow Americans, but after the 10+ years, well, you never know and I hope I'm wrong.

That's very possible with Gorelick, would not surprise me at all.
What still gets me years later, is why GW did not clean house and get rid of all the old Clintonistas when he came in in 2001. I don't understand it.
You can bet your ass if the wench wins in 08 lots of our guys will be gone.

That's a brilliant analysis and you could almost make a case they have a track record of doing just that, sabotaging the future adm.

I thought the same. Some serious butt covering from these thugs.

Does Judith Miller figure anywhere into this information?

I think Gorelicker should be thrown in jail for murder.
This story is huge and should be followed to the end. What did Clinton know and when did she know it?

"So now we know how they were able to so quickly and accurately identify Atta and some of the others. They were already under investigation." Bears repeating (especially since the NYT and her suckling babies won't say a thing).

Could it be that it was documents related to this issue that Burger was hiding his pants? Could be.
Look here
To: rod1
"Sandy Burger pants are burning. That is one thing for sure."
This has got to be the papers he was stuffing in his pants. This is a treasonable offense if you ask me.
And why didn't Gorelick bring it up herself while on the 9-11 board?

The consideration that WTC '93 was allowed to happen to get the spotlight off of Waco is a nagging thought in my mind as well. If domestic terrorism by foreign terrorists bailed them out once it could work again.
Remember, they knew about a potential attack on the WTC in '93 as well. Read up on it. Here...

Could be maybe Clinton and Bush are both Global Elitests and basically involved with turning this great Republic of the USA into a democracy that will fit into the New World Order. Gee whiz don't Bush 41 and Slick Willy play golf together? Hence just give Sandy Burger a slap on the hand because it's just one big happy family.

Thank you for that link.
The memo stemmed from the Justice Department's prosecution of the 1993 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
The Waco "story" seems more BS now than before.
