Parker's attorney said he is likely to file a civil suit in federal court by this fall. He plans to sue the town of Lexington, the school system and its officials. This is going to be an expensive fight! Visit:

"A book was sent home with Parker's 5-year-old son as optional reading material to be shared with his parents."The school won't make that 'mistake' again.

If you go to a state school your mind belongs to the state.
What this country needs iss school vouchers, and more Catholic (And Orthodox) schools!

Meanwhile, the Parkers are sending their son back to the school next month.BIG mistake. To Mr. Parker - Take your son out of school and home-educate him. You will find a lot of support within the homeschool community.

He needs to get his kid out of that school ASAP! Every queer who works at that school district will now have a goal of making sure his children are exposed to as much sexual perversion as possible.
I wish the right would get behind school vouchers. It's our saving grace, and the left knows it. It's worth civil war to me.

This is a battle he can't possibly win. He'll wind up on a hate crimes list before it's all over and if they really get fed up with him, DSC will relieve him of the care of his child. Don't expect the ACLU to jump in to save the little guy from being trampled on by the system.
Now if the book had mentioned Christmas or depicted a cross, then he'd be in the drivers seat...but of course the Lexington school board would not have let that kind of offensive material into their classrooms in the first place.

"A 5-year-old who is coming to the classroom with two moms deserves to be in a classroom that includes books that show his family," said Laura Tully, a supporter of the Lexington School District.
Apparently Mr. Parker and his son deserve nothing.

How is it that the 1-2% of gays out there are being forced into the homes of Americans, but the 20-25% of Americans who smoke cigarettes are being driven out of the public (and even private) venues like a herd in front of a prairie fire?
What crap!

Why he should get his legal services for free just like the gay activists did for the Romer case in Colorado. Write newly nominated Judge Roberts and ask him to arrange it.

The dispute started last spring when a book was sent home with Parker's 5-year-old son as optional reading material to be shared with his parents I'm really not sure what the issue is here. This was optional reading and the parents had a chance to review it before their kids saw the offending material.
What's his beef?

"A 5-year-old who is coming to the classroom with two moms" Biologically impossible. I'm donating $25 to that fund. Not much, but all I can afford to give right now.

How about a 5-year-old with two married (heterosexual) parents who attend a Christian church? Does the classroom include books that show his family?
