Glad they caught this guy. They should drum him out of the service and throw him in jail. Or do like they did to the kid in Singapore and give him a dozen whacks with a cane.

Gee. I wonder what a former USAF (Reserve) Lt. Colonel with a dishonorable discharge and no pension will do. Maybe the French Air Force (note the guy's last name) is looking for a few good cowards.

Does "Fecteau" mean "Fecus" in Rumanian?

Thanks.
I checked the headline, but it looks like they have put the story out under different headlines.

Thank you for the correction and apologies to the French Air Force.

He was vandalizing cars, not defacing stickers. He was using spray paint.

According to google, his phone number is (719) 528-8084.
Call him him up and tell him how you feel.

The A.P. sends it out and individual papers change the head line. It happens all the time.
I searched using the head line you posted however and found the other two. Not a big deal, if the mod didn't like it, he/she would let you know.
Far from a record number anyway, Ann Coulter's columns get posted a half dozen times each at least.

What a dumbass - how did he ever make LTC?I spent 4 years on Air Force bases during my tour in Germany. With the exception of pilots, I wasn't real impressed with the calibre of the officers that I dealt with.
During Tac Evals, all I heard was griping about having to do 12 hour shifts. It was a matter of pride for me to go all four days with only a 4 hour break during the second day.
On my first Tac Eval (as a 2LT), I demonstrated to the Wing Commander that I made better decisions regarding NBC warfare situations than his Disaster Preparedness Officer, a captain. For the duration of his command tour, I was called up to the "Eagles Nest" to advise him on NBC matters in addition to briefing him on the status of my battery's air defense units.
I will admit that the Air Force does a much better job on facilities and other support than the Army does.
That being said, our standard joke was: what's the difference between being in the Air Force and being on welfare?
A: when you're on welfare, you have to go get your check.
Flame away, zoomies! My six is covered! ;^)

As I type, I'm looking at the latest photo of my old air Force Reserve buddies. There's 12 in the photo. One was a Chief Master Sergeant, one was a captain, one I don't know about, since he joined the unit after I left. The rest are about equally divided between Lt. Cols. and Cols. Not Flaming A'hole in the bunch. Good solid folks. One person that was in the unit, but not at the mini-reunion, is still active in the Reserves. She's a one star general.
While a couple of them were pilots or navigators while on active duty, all were serving in non flying positions in the reserves.
