I just received an email message from a long time friend of Harry Clark. She says he passed away yesterday at his home in Virginia. She also says he will be greatly missed for his quirky sense of humor and quick mind. If you got past his superficial BS shell, he was a wonderful person.
He will be greatly missed.
I think many, like myself, are trying to be cautious but tactful. I understand your skepticism... but not everyone knows about the concerns that some were starting to piece together before this happened.
I don't know the answer. The friend who has logged in here might, if she's the real deal.
Also, I've been websurfing for more than 10 years. I have yet to "ACCIDENTLY" download or even see a piece of child porn, yet Harry needed info on scrubbing his hard drive. And defended someone based on the fact that the subject had less than thousands of pieces of child porn on his computer.
There. I'm done.
I've posted my concerns in my last couple of posts--and I know several people here shared them. If folks don't know what I'm talking about, a quick check of Harry's posts ought to clear it up.

Oh - you're too kind, I know many better people than me... I'm just another person watching and wondering what the heck just happened here.

I don't imagine this is how I should post this but did want the folks here in FR to know, The Other Harry , (Harry Clark), passed away at his home in Virginia Monday 8/8/2005 I know he enjoyed his time on FR and past many hours and had many a good chuckle here. He was a bright, good man in many ways. He had his faults as we all do I know, but he was a good friend to many people, one of my BEST FRIENDS... He did love his dog Peppi, and he was very good to his neighbors and they liked him. (except one) He was not freaky about children as some here suggested. He sometimes however did have a caustic Wit.. I for one, loved him dearly, and always will. He will be greatly missed. Thought some of you would like to know. What happened to Harry? This must've been a shock for you!
He lived alone, was someone checking on him? How did you find out about this tragic news?
I never heard of the guy until just recently. It was rather disturbing looking back on the threads but that's all water under the bridge now. We shant speak ill of the Republican dead.
Personally, I don't care what someone's political affiliation is when they make themselves appear to be pedophiles. I'm familiar with your posts--you seem like a nice guy. Have you ever accidently downloaded child porn? I doubt it.
Nope. I don't do the porn thing. But if he is dead, there nothing we can do about it so why bother reliving it?
As I've said before, I work with the fruit of the work of pedophiles. Long after they're dead, the destruction continues.
I'm not saying there's something that could be done, but something should have been, long ago. And when people say they miss his posts, I wonder if they read them.

Thanks, it seems like FR was his refuge from his problems and now his troubles are over. Let's hope he's in a better place.
