It sounds like something on the Canadian/U.S. border for frequent border crossers. You can go through background checks and get a special card to go through Immigration and Customs inspections quickly. It's like a commuter pass. I used to live on the border and there a thousands of commuters that live in one country but work in the other. Same thing with college students that cross the border every day. It gives them easy entry so more time can be spent checking out people who infrequently cross the border. If you've ever been stopped by immigration in Detroit, it is a madhouse of activity.
So they are going to voluntarily carry a document with a chip in it? Just like they appear at immigration hearings?I have a feeling that the transponder readers will find these chips in garbage cans.
Protect our borders and coastlines from all foreign invaders!

or will they use ear-clips?

Or tires.
Michelin Tests RFID Tags on Tires
*excerpt*
Automobile tire manufacturer Michelin is expanding its RFID tests by expanding the pilot to several other companies. The RFID tag will be embedded in the tire's sidewall and will be used to identify the exact product.
" JIM GILCHRIST FOR CONGRESS "

If there is enough support from fellow citizen-patriots like you, I
am seriously considering a Congressional challenge to the political
establishment. Given the wholesale failure of our current leadership
to defend American territory at our borders, and to protect our
system of ordered liberty from what can only be described as an
epidemic of lawlessness, I feel a run for federal office may be the
best thing I can do for our national security and national
sovereignty.
Answer: Because it's a third world cesspool.
least you could replacee the tires, i'm imagine something mounted just below or above the vehiclee's vin (which it's a crime to remove)
I had one problem with this article:
The tag is embedded into a document...
should actually read:
"The microchip is embedded into the pancreas."
Seriously, though; this only affects legals who bother with the checkpoints and does little to enhance our security.
Sorry about that, Forty_Seven - I was trying to post to FourtySeven. Bet that's not the first time that happened.
Parts of it yes, but then so are parts of the US. There are also some serious natural resources there. It's the fourth leading producer of oil.
That's right. Other than possibly helping with traffic snarls, it's hardly something that's going to stem the tide of illegals.
I didn't even know there was a "Forty_Seven". This is the first time that mixup was made at least on my end. Funny when I search on that name I don't get any posts.
I'll take the worst part of the U.S. any day.
"There are also some serious natural resources there."
Statehood is too high a price to pay.
