Absolutely not rude at all. She was outmatched and not used to actually having to answer tough questions about her views/turnabout.

I vote never let her have air time again. We all know exactly what she is going to say, we know she won't answer questions that she doesn't have a script for and she is using her sons death to promote her wacky agenda. /end rant

Tony wasn't letting her stick to her talking points, she knew it, and so she summarily bailed during the commercial break.

She had her chance to present a cogent position. She failed. She's done.
