Methinks I'd buy my own Adirondack lake, stock it with canoes, sailboats (not too big), rowboats, and kayaks, and live happily ever after.
That is, once the docs put a heck of a lot more melanin in my skin so that I don't burn in 45 minutes.

Good morning Billie and all. Bill Gates wishes he could dine as well as our FReepers.

Good morning Billie.
What a fun thread.
I would build a big log cabin somewhere in Montana and would enjoy traveling to some places I always wanted to go to,but can't because of money or the lag there of.;)
I think I would just stick with ordinary people than with the rich and famous.
Other then the log cabin and the travel I probably would still live an ordinary life.:)

Good afternoon, I only stayed at my quilt guild meeting for about an hour, they were hand dying fabric and I don't have much use for it as it's so much easier to just buy what I want.

Aha!!
Delayed getting here by 'necessary chores,' and then thunderstorms...

I even had to open another thread, Billie, to be sure before I put my toe in the lovely waters... you wrote:
" Let's *play like* today (and tomorrow) we can have absolutely anything in the world that money can buy. Money's no object. What would you buy? Pretend we've already saved the world with our vast wealth, and now we're ready to spend it foolishly and selfishly. :) "

Since we've already "saved the world" (which would include taking care of all military and veterans and their families), the door is wide open, I see!
Assuming we are the only one with this enormous power, I'd launch a
*** Fulfill Freeper Dreams Campaign!! ***
Suppose I'd have to have a home somewhere as my base, but I'd like to have a few total luxury motor homes, complete with drivers, mechanics, handymen, cooks, other staff, physician and nurses, etc., to go around America and visit Freepers, giving them what would make them happy!
That way, I could see all of America while meeting some remarkable persons....
Of course I'd give snugs in England all she desired - new home complex where she could have quarters for her Mum and Dad, and complete staff to do everything needed.
Also on the Immediate Do It List would be WVNan, DollyCali and lonestar and lysie and Lakeside and The Mayor and Diver Dave and Texas Termite(Nana) and Brad's Gramma and Numerous Others in the Because I Care Category.....
I'd of course hire our jwfiv with a limitless bank account of his own to go along with us to be able to photograph and write up all the travels...:))
A Doing America Right Adventure!, Johnny Mac!!
[your 2 motor homes would a have full staff, and kitty quarters, naturally..:)]
Hope your bank is truly a bottomess pit, Miss Billie,
'cause I'm imaginin' Big Time!!
P.S.
Weinie would have to be our guiding mascot angel, lonestar...

Wolves have no need for money. But if they did.....
I'd spend it all on my *Billie Blue*.
And *Mama_bear* and *dutchess* and *;Aqua* and *Dolly*.

If I woke up and was very rich, oh...there are so many things I would do :-) Of course, I would donate to wonderful, needy causes. Give lots of money to my family and friends. I would buy the house I grew up in. Buy a beach house in the south, buy a house in the Adirondacks, buy a place in Manhattan with a lovely view. I would have those pretty white shutters on all my windows, a built-in pool at every house, LOL. I would buy a Hummer, a Cadillac, and a vintage VW bug...always wanted one to just toodle around town. My pup, Lucy would have canine friends to play with, no need to worry about those high cost vet bills and they would have lots of room to romp. I would donate a large sum to help The Mayor get into office. I would run for Senator against Hillary Clinton, and I would win :-) I would go to Myrtle Beach, take my family, friends and Freeper friends for a fun vacation, yep...Myrtle Beach :-)
I would be as happy as I am now, just richer.
P.S. Billie, how did you get a photo of my house ;-)
Hmmm, sounds good...maybe I will play lotto this week
