Cindy Sheehan (snip) said yesterday on CNN that a private meeting with President Bush last year was offensive, insisting, "He acted like it was a party ... he came in very jovial, like we should be happy that ... our son died for [the President's] misguided policies."
But just after that 2004 meeting, she gave a very different account, (snip) "I now know [the president is] sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith." (snip)

"That's why tgslTakoma had to pay the fee for the archives, because it's old. That's why it's relevant now: Now she's changed her story. Did you miss that?"
My point is that she changed her story last October -- a long, LONG time ago. Therefore, it's important to note that she's been sleeping with the anti-war Left for almost a year now.
However, Drudge is reporting as if she didn't become anti-war until very recently.
As such, not really new news.

I guess the bottom line is that she changed her story almost a year ago; not recently. No need to pay for an old article when the first search result which appears when googling "cindy sheehan" turns up a FREE very anti-war Cindy Sheehan interview (from way back in October 2004).

Cindy Sheehan: I think he rushed into this war -this invasion - without having proper intelligence. For which we can thank the left's new favorite agency, the CIA, including WMD expert Valerie Plame.

Did you even read the story I linked? It's from June 24, 2004, predating your October story. Sounds like you have sour grapes over tgslTacoma's well-earned kudos.

Case in point: The Jersey Girls.
How many times have they been discredited?
How many times do they still get paraded in front of the lamestream media for their latest pronouncement?

She is just being a camera hog. It's no longer about her son. It all about herself.

Keep in mind that, in addition to spitting on her son's memory, this Sheehan female is also saying that the American people are not worth defending!

(blushing). I messed up -- I clicked the link at the top of the screen. Didn't analyze tgslTacoma's post until now.
I apologize sincerely. No sour grapes. Kudos to tgslTacoma. Good work.
One of these days I'll actually SLOW DOWN and read carefully before posting!

Drudge led with this on his Sunday radio program. That and Peter Jennings filled the entire two hours.

My mistake. The link posted by tgslTakoma goes to "The Reporter (Vacaville, CA)" & the story they put up there today credits Drudge. I now see the one by tgslTakoma was dated 6/24/2004, which "The Reporter" has reprinted & it is now available at:
http://www.thereporter.com/search/ci_2923921
tgslTakoma posted about this story on 8/6/2005. I have no idea when Drudge picked it up.
