Thanks Bill, you lousy POS.
:-) Yes, you can dream. But in your dream, can you try an approach where Clintons undermine their own credibility with those who love them best? Politically of course.
Wait, wasn't the World Court supposed to do this???
Book 'em Dano!
#66,
Wild Irish Rogue says:
'Hopefully, this is just the teeny tip of the iceberg.
July 18, BusinessWeek had a blockbuster, in depth expose on the shadow world of global oil traders- " The Rich Boys."
And their involvement with Saddam.
Which got zero attention.
Primarily because, IMHO, the main suspect is one Marc Rich.
The formerly " most wanted white collar criminal in US history " until his " controversial " pardon.
As an aside- according to BusinessWeek, the pardon can only be over turned by a Constitutional Amendment.
And once you read the article ( which is very detailed and very convoluted- lots of Arab names, shell companies and front companies ) no sane person can conclude that the Rich pardon was justified and it is criminal that the Clintons have not been held accountable for this travesty.
If Hillary was a Republican, this scandal would scuttle her candidacy.
Read this ( especially the last sentence ) and tell me your blood doesn't boil !
" Although Rich testified in writing in March, 2005, to a House committee investigating the U.N. program that he was not in any way active in the Oil-for-Food program, documents suggest that he bought Iraqi oil in 2001 from various front companies, which BusinessWeek has identified. This took place just one month after his pardon.
If so, it seems that Rich may have misled Congress.
The CIA, the Senate, and others have concluded that from September, 2000, until September, 2002,
buyers in the Oil-for-Food oil program had to pay illegal surcharges that Saddam used in part to buy weapons, though no documents show Rich made such payments.
Some investigators believe Iraqi insurgents are now using that money."
It is my personal opinion that both Clintons via Marc Rich have the blood of US soldiers on their hands.'
If RIch is involved, so is/are Hill/Billy!
Howlin, Bah Bah.....DO either of you take Business Week? Might be worth looking up the article mentioned by WIR.
Regardless, it looks as if the dominoes are beginning to fall...Let's hope they tell all as they go down.
LOL! Love it!
Hate to tell you, but Bolton would have nothing to do with this. It is a good start and I would like to see more arrests. Believe me, there will never be any convictions.
You right, but ya know it's just going to drive the loony leftie's nuts, when those less informed give Bolton credit for it. Almost as good as if he actually did have something to do with it............LOL
FYI

Alexander Nikolaevich Yakovlev
Alexander Nikolaevich Yakovlev has traveled far in his lifetime: having grown up in a peasant village near Yaroslavl, he reached the summit of power in the former Soviet Union in 1987 when he joined the Politburo and became the leading architect of glasnost and perestroika.
Despite the constraints of his position as the head of the party's propaganda department, Mr. Yakovlev repeatedly spoke out with courage, deep conscience, and integrity. A striking instance of this was his publication of an article criticizing Russian chauvinism and anti-Semitism in certain party circles, an event that marked a turning point in his intellectual and political life. The article was published in November of 1972; by 1973 he had been banished from Moscow's insider circles by an appointment as ambassador to Canada. Though he served in this position for ten years, he remained a powerful voice in the movement towards liberalization. Without a doubt, he was the most outspoken and radical proponent of glasnost and perestroika on the Politburo.
While in power, Mr. Yakovlev helped shape foreign policy and presided over ideological, intellectual and cultural affairs. He sat at Gorbachev's side during the five summit meetings with President Reagan. By 1990, he had come under increasing attack from the conservative wing of the party and extreme nationalist groups, culminating in his expulsion from the party two days before the coup d'état of August 1991. Immediately after the coup began he joined the democratic opposition. At the victory rally in Moscow on August 21, after the coup had been defeated, the man who had formerly presided over official propaganda concluded his remarks with the phrase, "I wish you all personal happiness," words that resonated sentiments of humanism and individualism, the very antithesis of the party ideology that had been imposed on the country for more than seventy years.
And Bolton is somehow too "strident" for these crooks?
I am so glad Bolten is in. I think the U.N. is shaking in their boots right now!
I am too. At least we can hold our heads up among that gang of thugs.
How do you strip someone "of his diplomatic immunity"?
We're talking about the UN, so ask Cokie Annan (or is it Kofi Roberts; ah heck, let's just call him Head Crook).
US Attny would not zap UN officials
About the only thing the US can do to a UN official is kick them out of the country.
>>About the only thing the US can do to a UN official is kick them out of the country.<<
If Dip Immunity revoked that does not remain true.
