Cindy Sheehan has gone from opposing President Bush to bashing America. Calling the United States "immoral", she says she doesn't want to live in a country like this and is ready for jail. The woman, whose son was killed in Iraq, is protesting at Crawford, TX and said the following today:
SHEEHAN: "I don't want to live in a country like this. And this country is immoral, the laws are immoral, the people who enforce the laws are immoral. And, like Henry David Thoreau said, the only place for a moral person to be is in jail. And I'm ready to go to jail."
A recording of her shocking statement is currently available here: (MP3 format, size 124KBytes, length 15.4 sec)
Sheehan's outrageous comments today came during an interview with moonbat conspiracy radio host, Alex Jones.
Hey Cindy, HERE'S A QUARTER, call someone who cares!
You have nailed it, much better than I. May peace be with this lady.
This lady is a NUTBAG
Hey man, that's gross. I'm eating cheetos.
She should be ignored when she is speaking in public. She should be jailed as soon as she commits an act that warrants jail time.
But we should not be distracted into thinking her position is uncommon. There are tens of thousands of teachers and professors being paid public dollars to teach the same geopolitical garbage to their students. Many of the views of this one moonbat are official policy proclaimed on the website of the National "Edukashun" Association.

I prefer to politely ignore her. People can't always think straight when they've lost a child.
Precisely!
Maybe they could get therapy together!

Because she is getting all of this attention. I feel for her for losing a son because losing a child is about the worst thing to happen to a parent. She needs to quit blaming everyone else and accept the fact that her son was doing something he loved. How is she honoring her son by doing all of this?
Bump, but she's not going to shut up.
She wants to leave. Let's help.

Where is her husband or the rest of her family as she makes a pathetic spectacle of herself? Somebody needs to take her home.
Not so Cindy. You can leave. But be careful about criticizing the governemnt wherever you land or you'll end up somewhere that'll make you wish you were in an American jail.
Wow, way to dishonor your son's memory, Ms. Sheehan. Good going.
I can only speak for myself about losing a child. It is the hardest thing on earth to deal with. Grief is a day to day struggle or sometimes it is a minute by minute struggle but I have survived and others have too. I do not know what you mean by misplaced emotional attachment. But, I would never go public like this. She does not speak for all of us who have lost a child for whatever reason.
To be fair, people can become singular minded about things to the point that their loved ones can't influence them.
I have been known to resemble that remark... ;-)
Very interesting!
tuedays are better.
Cute. But she already has her own bus. It's how she got to Crawford.
