"Get over it. It's time to say the liberal Democrats are the ones who have consistently supported the Jesus-taught principles of helping the powerless. Ditto for championing the interests of middle-class working people."
Would Jesus have aborted a 6 week old baby still in the mothers womb?

I heard the Dems were thinking about allowing Pro-Life people back into the party. I guess that might allow Him in too.
But what about the concept of stealing from one person (taxes) to give to another (socialism)? Seems like that would be counter to His teachings as well.
And, lets not even get into the whole sodomy rights thing.

Oh, so it's alright to thrust one's religion into politics as long as Jesus is a hippie, eh?? Okie-dokie... these people are such hypocrits.

Retired Lutheran minister Daniel Bruch of Live Liberal gets right to the point: "I don't know if Jesus was the first liberal, but he was an important one."Jesus taught love, tolerance, forgiveness, charity and humility. Don't take my word for it. Read the New Testament. It's not that long. And it's not about fire-and-brimstone fundamentalism, judging one another or dominating the Earth. It outlines a philosophy based on a really radical idea: Love your creator, love yourself, love your neighbor as yourself.
Howard Dean: "I hate Republicans."
Not very Christ-like of him. I think that Dean's attitude is more typical of American liberalism than the fantasy world that this writer lives in. The American left is filled with hatred. They only love those who are bad. The rest of us, they hate.

(Hillary) needs the guts to take a proud left turn and loudly proclaim that the United States is not a "Christian nation" in any pinched or exclusionary way. It's a nation that honors the individual rights of pagans, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and others, as well as Christians.(/i> Yeah, I remember. The non-exclusionary Jesus. "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. Wverybody can come to the Father, either through me or anyone else they choose."

Jesus TOLD me to have all those partial birth abortions...!!!
To: linkinpunk
First clue the writer is ignorant on the subject of Jesus is when they refer to Him as "That Nazareth fellow".

Wait...We have to let Jesus know that his teachings are forbidden in schools, courts and in any public forum. Thanks to the Democrats and their ACLU and MSM stooges.

Howard Dean: "I hate Republicans." Slogan for 2008- How Would Jesus Scream?
To: Paloma_55
But what about the concept of stealing from one person (taxes) to give to another (socialism)? Seems like that would be counter to His teachings as well. The fun thing about the Bible is that it is fairly flexible:
stealing from one person (taxes) ummm . . . ."Give unto Caeser . . . "
to give to another (socialism)? ummm . . . "Am I not my brother's keeper?"

I'm sure Jesus would appreciate his mother being put into a painting with feces all over it.
What a sick joke these people are. If it were not for the RATS, the GOP would never win.

Alot of people misinterpret the way Jesus handled the Money Changers in the Temple. He wasn't against them or the use of money or business. People needed to exchange their money for different currency in order to buy animals for sacrifice to God. Jesus was angered by the cheating that was going on.

What a low point in the sewer of politics.
The Dems are in full disarray with pipsqueaks like this one resorting to peurile silliness.
Or: Is this another "dirty Republican trick"?
