Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You tonight asking for Your protection of the astronauts who will be returning tomorrow morning. We pray that their flight home will be uneventful and that the treasure of being in space will just live on with them as they tell of the wonders of Your creation. Lord, they are very priveleged to have seen first-hand this aspect of Your creation. We just pray that they will come back safe and sound and will live to tell this waiting nation all about it. Thank You Lord for hearing our Prayer and for being a Sovereign God in all situations. It's in Jesus's name that I pray these things. Amen

I've been thinking about Apollo 13 and how millions of people were in prayer rallies for the safe return of the astronauts.
