"I've heard about the *fix her* comment, but not sure what it means."

Most likely means to "fix" (pinpoint) her location at the time of the call, if the cellphone as equipped with GPS; ar at minimum the azimuth (compass direction) trom the cell tower on aruba.......the latter can be done with more accuracy if there are multiple towers, but I read that there is only a single tower in aruba-----I'm not sure that only a single tower is believable, though.

I thought the "we can fix her" comment was referring to her condition. i.e. beat up, in a compromising position, etc. I thought it was a mom's anguished, "doesn't matter what shape, we can fix her up again, just give her back." But I sure can't find the original discussion, (so I have nothing but my over 35 with a toddler mommy memory backing me up. Today is still Monday right?)

I don't know why, but I'm thinking the number of towers is 16?! One of the earlier threads had the number of towers - with my fuzzy head this morning, it was probably more than 1 and less than 16!
