Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005 1:43 p.m. EDT Candy Crowley: Hillary Seen as 'Goddess'
2008 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is considered a "goddess" in Democratic Party circles, CNN's Candy Crowley reported Saturday.
"I honestly hear the word 'goddess' attached to her," Crowley told fellow CNN'er Joe Johns, who asked her to survey the 2008 political landscape.
"She's kind of this she doesn't have to show up in New Hampshire for another three-and-a-half years, because she's such a presence there," Crowley continued to gush. In the next breath Crowley seemed at a loss for words to explain the awe-inspiring power of Sen. Clinton's charisma.
"I mean, she is, you know, again, she, like McCain on the Republican side, they already have look, they already have names, they already have networks. They don't need to be [in New Hampshire] right now. It's the insurgents that need to be in there now."

2008 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is considered a "goddess" in Democratic Party circles, CNN's Candy Crowley reported Saturday. It's because the whole dang party is afraid of her
She knows what's in their closet and they know she is not afraid to use it

She makes me sick! As a woman I am not opposed to a woman President, but I think that it should be a real woman and lady if you will.

"Only to you, Candy, your Rotundness. If Hillary runs, the Democrat Party will never recover from the savage beating she will inflict on everyone on the Jackass ticket." Candy isn't saying this is her opinion. She is just reporting what she is hearing from the Dems.

Perhaps there are a few dems. left with enough sanity to try and stop the madness. The whole clinton
legacy will one day be discussed in quiet whispers so as not to scare the children, I believe. Much like the Donner Party. What started out as a New Deal Democrat Pass through the U.S. Constitution turned into a harrowing era of stranded ideas and near-death alliances for those who chose to follow the Clinton's wagontrain. Now the followers are so desperate to find civilization, they have deluded themselves into believing that hillary can lead them out. Maybe there are a few left who have the courage to walk away and take their chances on their own, knowing she is half the reason they are stranded today. Others would rather resort to political cannibalism, eyeing each other's approval ratings, searching for the weak among themselves. And here's the kicker, STILL believing that soon Hillary will turn their worn-out shoes into loaves and fishes. A slow motion disaster with verifiable results.
How can you rescue people who don't/won't realize they are being held captive?

Have either of you read the book about Hillary by Klein?

She took my apple...
Sounds just like a Clinton, actually: always making things worse by sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong, not to mention getting her grubby paws on things that aren't hers.

Have you read Rider Haggard's SHE (She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed)? I thought of this 19th century fantasy when I saw the remark about Hillary being considered (by her devotees) a "goddess".
