The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "AMMAN, Jordan - Facing trial soon on charges he massacred fellow Muslims, Saddam Hussein purportedly vowed in a letter published Sunday to sacrifice himself for the cause of Palestine and Iraq, and he urged Arabs to follow his path.

The letter, published in two Jordanian newspapers, allegedly was delivered through the International Committee of the Red Cross to an old friend now living in Jordan. Those who made the letter public said the man refused to be identified. It was believed to have been the first letter since Saddam was captured in December 2003 that he sent to someone other than a family member.

"My soul and my existence is to be sacrificed for our precious Palestine and our beloved, patient and suffering Iraq," the letter said.

Tayseer Homsi, Secretary General of the Jordanian Arab Baath Socialist Party, said the missive was delivered through the ICRC to an "independent Jordanian political figure who wished to remain anonymous."

The ICRC said it was checking the authenticity of the letter, according to Iraq delegation spokeswoman Rana Sidani, who is based in Amman. Saddam and other such political detainees to whom the ICRC has access are only allowed to write letters to family members."

"Iraq: Jordan Letting Saddam Kin Aid Terror"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BAGHDAD, Iraq - The Iraqi government accused Jordan on Sunday of allowing members of Saddam Hussein's family living there to fund a network seeking to destabilize Iraq.

Government spokesman Laith Kubba said the former Iraqi dictator's relatives in Jordan have "huge amounts of money" to support efforts to revive his Baath Party organizations. Kubba did not specify the family members, but Saddam's two oldest daughters live in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

"It is regrettable to say that there still are large numbers of elements, not only former regime elements, but supervisors of some terrorist groups, who are in Jordan," Kubba told reporters.

Relations between Jordan and Iraq have been strained since the collapse of Saddam's regime in 2003 over various issues. However, it appeared Kubba's statements were aimed in part at deflecting criticism from Jordan about the possible involvement of Iraqis in subversive operations in Jordan.

Jordanian police have detained an undetermined number of Iraqis as well as other foreign Arab suspects in the Friday rocket attack that barely missed a U.S. warship in Aqaba.

"We don't want Jordan to harm a quarter of a million Iraqis (living in Jordan) because of one Iraqi" involved in the Friday attack, Kubba said.

There was no immediate comment from the Jordanian government, which has been seeking to improve relations with its eastern neighbor — once its closest trading partner and only supplier of oil."

The Sentinel cites and quotes Steven Emerson's segment in the special on his conversations with FBI agents. "They understood that it would take more blood in order to get the government to react," Emerson says. "And now I'm hearing other FBI and other officials say to me, 'Steve, we're going to need another 9-11.'" That's not a rosy scenario. You can see part of Steve's interview in the special here. If you click the links that are blind, you get a different
page, a different message, but with the meta tags the same, almost, the link will be in the meta tags.

There was one of them that had a seperate line for:
Babtist Church, and one of the meta words was '38 caliber'.

Still Proud 2 be free, found and published the Sten words last year. The news have been talking about OBL hiding message all along.

You know my knowledge is minor, but meta-tags are lists of words that will cause google and other search engines to bring traffic to the site.

A few months ago, I googled a Freeper's name, looking for a
quick link to a thread I knew they had posted, but not the
name of.

On the first page, there was the name, on a porn site link.

Yep, I was shocked, as I tend to forget about the use of meta words.

I went back and to the porn site, it had a list of names and
words all in a paragraph, Freeper names, World Net Daily,
comic book characters and childrens words, God, even Santa Claus.

That is one of the reasons the blockers on computers do not
work to keep the children off porn sites.

The hotel link, came from a star search.

Everyone needs to Google their own name, do it granny style,
so that you get all there is to see and find out if you are
a star on a porn site.

I am no longer good at the on and on searches of blind links, after 30 minutes to an hour, my sight is blurred and for the rest of the day, it is so difficult to see the page,
that I miss a lot and don't understand half of what I read.

Time to hand over to the 'young ones'......LOL
