The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

Police foil gas attack on Commons [London, U.K.]

SCOTLAND YARD believes it has thwarted an Al-Qaeda gas attack aimed at ministers and MPs in parliament. The plot, hatched last year, is understood to have been discovered in coded e-mails on computers seized from terror suspects in Britain and Pakistan.

Police and MI5 then identified an Al-Qaeda cell that had carried out extensive research and video-recorded reconnaissance missions in preparation for the attack.

The encrypted e-mails are said to have been decoded with the help of an Al-Qaeda “supergrass”. By revealing the terrorists’ code he was also able to help MI5 and GCHQ, the government’s eavesdropping centre at Cheltenham, to crack several more plots.

The discovery of the suspected Commons nerve gas plot was behind the decision to increase security around parliament this summer.

yes there should be some sattelite-enhanced reaction we should have.. I think it was arizona granny that hit this on the head, they have infiltrated the system and will be firing from non-hostile places therefore putting the "attacked" at a huge disadvantage because they won't wat to fire back on innocent areas.n

I think this is totally how they work, internally. How much more can we bomb Afghanistans mountains and tribal regions for one enemy when they may be everywhere yet covert?

Doesn't EOM always use lots of words.

I suspect that the increase in messages is related to the anti-war crowd that is keeping the Cindi camp going at the
Presidents ranch in Texas.

The anti crowd is really posting and calling the talk shows, being real brave, yelling bring them home or sounding like that al jazeera (U.S.) post that I sent a little while ago.

Only a guess on my part.

But it does bring us back to the point of "did they overhear
someone else talking"?

Unless they have a mind like mine, I would think that they do need a germ to build on.

Dr. Bill Wattenberg had said last week that the tankers and
trucks were to start getting attention and talked of the threat they provide.

He will be on KGO.com radio, 810 on the am dial at 10 pm.

You can listen on the computer.

I heard on one of the news that 2 NW airliners had problems.

The one in Detroit, with the blownout tires and the other
came back to California, and landed with smoke in the cockpit or cabin......

The Hotel popped up on the star searches, at first it looks like a bunch of meta tag words, but when you click on the
